Great vid Anna. We love you as a presenter but will GMBN please tell us where's Doddy? Don't think it's fair that everyone's question on this is being ignored.
is there a video were gmbn show how to add inserts to the inside of front suspension & pending on room how many is best ? thanks for putting this video up
There are lots of videos on this topic. Search for "volume spacers" or "volume tokens" and add your brand of fork or rear shock to the search. Basically, they are cylindrical plastic chunks that take up space that would otherwise be occupied by air. You can add these to forks or rear shocks, but you have to buy the spacer that fits your brand and model of fork or shock. With less air, the fork or shock compresses differently - it makes it so the very last part of the stroke is harder to compress. Your fork likely has one or two already in there from the bike manufacturer, tuned to what they think will be good for most riders. To decide on whether you need more, there's no easy guidelines - it depends on your weight, your riding style, your trails, etc. They are easy to add - just add one and test to see if you think it improves your suspension and go from there.
