Really beautiful video, and I can’t imagine how long it took to script and Edit all that disparate footage. The vertical video really works here and the stitched together angles and ratios are the perfect choice for capturing the energy that I felt there when I stopped by.
Congrats, Stephen. You should submit this video for a James Beard award next year. Seriously.

I’m 40 years in the production business and I really want to give you kudos for the post here. Massive edit. Assembling random footage with your planned stuff and finding shots in other people’s shot to support your edit takes a ton of commitment and culling it from hours of footage…just awesome. Congrats on a massive edit, fun outcome and most of all GO GIANTS! 😊

Thank you Mike! You're not wrong, this was a literal nightmare to edit and to add to it, Final Cut pro was buggy, It went non responsive about 100 times while editing. But in the end, Im very happy with how it came out and was worth all the effort. GO GIANTS

Your eagerness to learn, and the way you weaved together the narrative of how you learned so much, and were able to impart your own knowledge towards others, truly showcases the passion and dedication you have for your craft.
It's evident that you not only cook with your hands but also with your heart. Your humility and genuine self are refreshing. Remember, it's okay to feel burnt out sometimes; it's a testament to how much you care about things.

This was by far my favorite episode of yours, which is not in any way a criticism of any others at all. You were right, you NEEDED that involvement with others and the camaraderie to break the chains that form within our minds. I've not seen you look so happy before, and you've now personally met and interacted with many others whom you've just met or have enjoyed their content. I am very much looking forward to the effects that this experience will have in your future videos as you learn how to integrate it. This video is everything! Not only did I make it through this video, I made it through twice. And took notes. Seriously. In April I start a 6-month sabbatical working on a project about cooking/gardening/communion-eucharist-mass/community/connections/belonging. Chefs/cooks get this on an intuitive level that others often miss. Here’s why:
“The magic of community and spontaneity”
    “Heaven on earth”
“All these oddballs together around the table making pasta”
“Almost everything in life is better when shared together”
“I need a little more heart and soul out of my RUclips experience”

Stephen, I've been following your channel for a couple of years and first time commenting. This was an absolute joy to watch and I don't think I've ever seen you smile so widely and so often. I'm a singer/songwriter here in AZ and also am a Licensed Massage Therapist in private practice. My lead therapist Kelsey and I spend so much time in isolation with our clients, as do I with my music. It's required for artists to spend vast amounts of time alone, and it's something I'm quite comfortable with, as are you by your remarks. When we get out and around our tribe of therapists and bodyworkers, it's just a wonderful communal experience and a reminder we need that connection much more frequently than we realize. You reminded me of that and it was a joy to see you mixing it up with other passionate food artists and creators. I'm delighted you got that shot in the arm and rejuvenated your passion for cooking and creating content. Your channel is just awesome, and Kelsey is a avid photographer and loves your creative editing. She trains and films her two dogs and your videos have served as an inspiration for her. Thanks so much again for your fantastic content and infectious energy. And for the awesome and scrumptious food! I've made the fish n' chips several times for my roommate, and she said that tartar sauce is the best she's ever tasted. Bravo, dude!

(~23 min. mark) Watching his dad the last almost 3 years has both saved my sanity and made my Chinese cooking far better. Post you-know-what, my sense of smell is still barely a wisp-I can get a whiff of bacon or garlic if I put my nose almost in the pan! His dad’s instructions are so good that it helped enormously with the fact that I can’t smell! Plus I taste them better.

food and music are the two things that bring people together like nothing else in this world. this was an incredible video, and sounds like it was an amazing experience. I'm honestly laughing at the fact that there was so much crazy cooking and techniques being showcased by so many content creators, and then you're just there on a balcony all day with the simplest ingredients bringing everyone together. next to a full yakitori setup, across the way from sous-vide nitro-fried tomahawk steaks, etc etc you're making such straightforward food still shine. You said it yourself a few times: community. That's what it's all about.
I've been a fan of yours for a long while, and love your normal style of instruction video/recipes. Your bolognese recipe is still the gold standard I use to this day, (my Italian nana, before she passed, was absolutely in love with it and always asked for me to make a batch whenever her birthday came around) and hearing you be so excited to cook and share food is honestly inspiring. Can't wait to see what you might come up with next.
