My recommendation for hats? The good old Canadian Tilley hat. It protects your face, neck and hair from the sun and it’s nearly indestructible (and it floats!)
It was one time I decided to protect my hair from sea salt water, but my actions were my own experiment, the thing that I invented, and it worked out!... I'm glad I did everything right (according to this video). 🤗 I came to a beach, then wetted my hair with distilled water from a bottle, then apply coconut water to it, and only after that I went swimming in the sea (pretty long). When I washed everything out and air dried my hair at home .... Oh gosh, I never felt so much of softness on it. I liked the result a lot and I guess it's the sea water that made some goodness to my hair too. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
As a swimmer, who swam five to six days weekly before the Coronavirus pandemic , what could I do to protect my hair besides wearing a swimming cap and putting on certain products?
Hello there, if I have to be honest I love your videos and I love how genuine they are, you taught me a lot about hair, but I would like to know if you could do more videos for guys with short hair, because to be honest I found so much trust in you that I haven't found in others! It would be great! Thank you for your great content anyway I hope you grow and get to where to deserve to be!! Hair is such big deal today!
Thank you for considering an important subject related to longhaired swimmers mostly.. Well along with the protective products I have been wearing a swimming cap for ten years now even in sea water which facilities movement and harmful hair movement.. Plus you may add to rinse hair with clear water after every dip.. Perhaps you like the salt water because it gives you more texture feeling.. I thought it was useful too as it is to body skin.. But no to me, it made my hair brittle when I used to keep the salt.. Anyhow I am getting enough salt as I do prolonged swimming sessions.. My hair is lower back long..
Trav! I ❤️ the Humor!!! Don't STOP! 😂🤣😂 ( 0 Voicecrack Counter!) I truly appreciate your work, that you've done in Hair Care!!! It's as though, you picked up, where my Mom, left off at! Thank You!!!
Thanks for the video!! For the chlorine water, is it best to apply an oil and then rinse with water before getting in the pool, or rinse first and then apply oil? And is coconut oil enough or should it be a heavier oil? Thanks!!
Trav, when I first saw your vids I thought you lead us to do our hair in the most natural way which is not using any other organic or inorganic products. What happens if we do not use any of these nice and useful products like coconut oil olive oil?
So im on vacation for 2 weeks right now and i cant do all the steps but i always wash my hair in the evening witg conditioner and moisturising shampoo is this enough... Like i dont want my hair to be fucked when im back home 😅
@@TravWhiteStyle from my personal experience growing my hair I disagree. More vitamin D is better unless you have a crappy diet that malnourish your hair as well. Without UVB which peak at noon we cannot make vitamin D. UVA on the other hand could damage your skin and hair, but it won't be a problem if you have healthy hair, with sufficient protein and hydrated. There's no good for your hair on the long run avoiding the sun.
Loved the video! It'd be nice to see a science based beard video
Dan c bearded yT has been my go to teacher for science backed healthy beard info

I love the scientific side of your videos! So interesting!!
Thanks for these tips! They're going to be really helpful when I go to Mexico next week!
I go to swimming pool at the gym - swim caps are mandatory here, probably it's one of the reason (besides the hair loss in pool).

A Q. MR. TRAV
When v apply the argan oil
Shud v apply the oil from mid shaft to above or shud v coat the whole hair strand from the root?
Avoid the scalp. Just the shaft
Personally I think sun (vitamin D) helps hair growth
A little is great, a lot is not
