My husband is a pipefitter in Michigan and if you work through a union hall, there are times you are on unemployment. It's unavoidable. My husband is not a 1% Elite worker but if a contractor wants him bad enough, they will give him a vehicle to drive. I can imagine if he was a one percenter they would probably send a limo to pick him up everyday.
That’s the purpose of unemployment insurance: it levels out the business cycle and acts as an automatic stimulus limiting the effect on demand when people are out of work. It’s not a welfare program.

How does someone who worked 100 hours a week @ $52/hour for the past 7 years not saved up enough to live on for a year? That's a lot of money "up in smoke".
I’d guess it’s a week or 2 on and off. He travels with a team to job sites all over.
Someone from the unemployment services needs to watch this and suspend his ability to recieve the payments for 10 years because he publicly admitted that he would not seek employment from a lower paying job. You are REQUIRED to apply for other jobs to continue receiving the stipend.
He admits smoking pot and then climbing up long windmill towers. Perhaps his industry and those who would hire him would black ball him.

I laughed so hard yesterday when I was watching this live. Watching it again, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry! What a total narcissist. He’s too good for just ANY job to help get him through this period in his life, so instead, he’ll collect unemployment benefits. I guess he justifies this sense of entitlement because he pays for this benefit through his taxes. I hope someone at unemployment sees that he’s choosing not to work - not because he can’t find work.

I work for a energy company that does Wind Turbines and have never heard of "The King of Wind Turbines" at $52 /hour
My parents taught us that no work is beneath us, so long as it is honest work. Had a cousin like that guy, preferred to leach off his parents rather than do work he was too good for.
I read a nonficyion book where a smart guy became a car mechanic but wished he'd went to college. Instead of saving up money and looking up a good engineering program, he just grew bitter and wallowed in his own arrogance. He was a writer too, and published at that, but it didn't sell well enough to be a full-time gig. So mister "people should bow in my presence" kept living life with all this pent-up anger (and alcoholism). I guess the last straw was seeing a friend of his happily married and with kids. He acted like a jerk to the whole family and even had thoughts of slaughtering them at some point. A few months later he committed suicide cause he was depressed, bitter, angry, arrogant and alone. The book is "Twelve rules for life" iirc.
He is very very insecure. He spends the entire time telling the court how much money he used to make and how he is a king. Dude needs to find a little humility. He expects me to pay my taxes to pay for his food because he is "too good" to work a job.
But he hasn't taken unemployment or anything, *NOT ONCE IN 7 WHOLE YEARS!!!* I think he's entitled to it at this point! 😂😂😂😂
Maybe the defense attorney is so disgusted with the client he will just let him talk and let the judge take care of his Royal highness.

Yes, she "staples, files, prepares reports, collates reports, answers the phone". You name it, she does it. Just watching her, I think she has more than two hands, . . . possibly three, or four. Judge DiSanto is always busier than any other judge you see on youtube. And she is also one of the best judges.

Hey Mike, I listen to your channel a lot throughout the day when I’m driving to jobs or running errands, and when I have my son with me (he’ll be 3 in October) he is normally on his tablet watching a show or playing educational games. I’ll try to talk to him and he doesn’t hear me right away, but when the goat sound goes off from your videos, he looks up and busts up laughing. He absolutely loves that noise!! I’ll have to figure out where to get one for him.

If he claims to work for $52/hr, 100+hours a week, with no breaks he can figure out a way to get to and from work. Uber, taxi, moving company, friends, you can pay someone to take you there and bring you back.

And if you think he's lying when he says he makes $52/hour..He's probably telling the truth. Ride mechanics can make close to $90K a year, and only work usually April-September.
This guy isn't just arrogant and obnoxious - he's clearly unmoored from reality. He needs mental health treatment, in jail or otherwise.
