My wiper arms were getting caught on each other while on. This video was really helpful for me to be able to remove one of them, re-adjust downward and tightened, now it’s working properly.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad it helped. I did realize after posting this...that to some people removing the entire unit, that's something I didnt show. Even though it would've took maybe another 4min to show, I should've took it out on video.
for some reason the passenger side wiper on my car had some kind of locktite or JB weld holding the locking nut to the bolt.. had to literally chisel it out with a flathead.. the driver side wiper came off exactly how you showed
This is the only trick that worked, and it worked fast. Guess it's the way it's meant to be done. Thanks!
You're Welcome!
Your my hero, wipers removal is waaaaaay easier now. Thank you!!!!
You're welcome!
The position of the two blades is very precise. So, before you start, use lengths of sticky tape to mark their exact positions on the windscreen ;o)

It was great but id like to see you finish taking it out and replace with new one ,
I'm surprised that cowl is in good shape. Must've been replaced not too long ago

Thanks for the help slim jesus
The tip worked after trying to pry the arms up for an hour!
Tried hammering and it did not work, on too tight on my E46. Invested in a decent wiper arm puller, less hassle and these are not expensive.
Battery terminal pullers work great too!
Will it come out if you keep pressing down on that arm joint ?? Without the Flat Head & Mallet.
Highly unlikely as its pressed in. If it hasnt come off before...from your knowledge..then I highly doubt it will come off that easy.
Greased those collets before replacing them. No aggro for next removal!
Great video, thanks.
Solid advice 🙏🏿🛠
Thanks man!
Always weird for me to see an E46 in such a rural area
Thank you
tan fácil no sera, ya que al final del vídeo no lo ha podido sacar tan siquiera el
Thanks
