Bad Boys hands down my favorite. I believe it’s a true honest 4K film. A lot of 4Ks are actually 2K then they upscale it to make it 4K. But upscaled 4K is not the same as true native 4K. Sony seems to be one that is big about images being real native 4K. Not upscale or pixel shift.

Great video, Adam! Love seeing these every month. I’m not sure if you know, but can you confirm that the special features on that Godzilla release are only in Japanese with no English subtitles? I’m tempted to get that release for the minus color edition, but if I can’t utilize the extra disc of special features, I’ll just live without the B&W version. Thanks for the help, and the video!
Defeintly agree with Godzilla Minus. Still hoping sooner rather then later for BEN-HUR! I think it would look stunning on 4k Dolby Vision. When ol' lord when?
Good summary there Adam. Just received my Bad Boys 4k steel book in the post and sending it back as unfortunately it came with a big dent. Disappointing - hate it when that happens! Such a great fun action movie 👍😁

Hoping that Arrow U.K get Riddick as I've heard that shout studios are releasing it stateside. Chronicles is such an impressive 4K plus the artwork is 100% topnotch. Oct is going to be a massive month with Twister & twisters coming out, plus A nighmare on elm street, plus late night with the devil & trick or treat, breakdown & WWZ coming too, November and December are shaping up to be very promising here in the U.K, hoping we get a lot of great catalogues next year Inc A kingdom of heaven. Keep up the great work Adam & be strong 👏👏👏👏
I’ll be watching BB on Friday and have my GMO steelbook preordered. In today’s world of many weak Atmos tracks, I really appreciate the great ones!
Sadly for me, this September was the first month of this year that i didnt have at least 2 of the 5 top 4k releases. The only one i have is Bad Boys Ride Or Die. Which is a fantastic looking and sounding disc.
Definitely Chronicles of Riddick 4K 1.78:1 open mat format with HDR and Atmos. I also got the Ride or Die 4K
Hey Adam, can you do a little test and checkout the 4k GODZILLA and remove the color and compare it to the b/w bluray and let us know if much of a difference. Thanks!

I'm so looking forward to put my hand on this brilliant and unique edition of Godzilla. By far the best movie version ever released. The 4k quality must be stunning as you say. The other I expect to have is Wind River, great movie.
I picked up a bunch of stuff in September but I think I only watched the new 4k of Devil. That looked pretty good but I didn't A/B it with the Blu Ray. Also have Village of the Damned and The Body Double which I have high hopes for.
I bought Horizon on steel book and I always wondered if this movie is really worth buying especially checking it out just to see if this one is really worth watching pleases let me know if this movie I bought on steel book is really good to watch Thanks
Buying Horizon would seem like a risk because, people don't know if part 3 & 4 are going to be made, due to the poor box office numbers and reviews of part one. If someone would buy Horizon, they may end up having an incomplete saga.
I really wanted to like Godzilla Minus One. I appreciate that it was more down to earth and realistic compared to the silly, cartoonish versions in the past. However, it was just way too predictable. I want to avoid spoilers; but every plot point and so-called surprise reveal was telegraphed in advance in large, bold letters. I will pass on this one.
So right that the next few months look to be seriously expensive to the 4k collectors … I’m still playing catchup from the past few months !!

Sound and Color - YES ...... BUT not a good storyline with lots of non stop action( Too Much - over done ). Thankful I rented it and fast forward through a lot of it. Very Disappointed - The First and Second ones are the Best. I won't be buying this one.
Did you mean to say there are too many westerns being made today or should that have been that there are too FEW? I know you goofed up saying “you can’t do worse” than watching HORIZON and the quality of the presentation. I’m sure you meant you can’t do BETTER? Minor goofs, no offense.

Have been tempted by Horizon… every clip I’ve seen looks gorgeous … but am a little put off by the critics regarding the apparent lack of story. It could get expensive if I got trapped into the full series of (isn’t it 5?) movies.
