@@TVC5268 I totally agree. I also think that there could have been more to the quest to get Spellbreaker, such as the possibility of contracting the plague from the Afflicted.
I accidentally made something like this on my first mage play through. I would bash enemies, block arrows and walk backwards until my magicka regenerated
@@aceaj2620 sounds like a happy accident. In part I came up with the idea after being frustrated by wards not being useful against archers and melee classes
50! Congratulations, my friend and what a wonderful build again. This one is a lot of fun to play with the unique combination of block and destruction and of course you managed to tell us all the baby steps needed to get there. Great work. It always and again puts a big smile on my face, how much you know about Skyrim and how well timed your decisions are. I can't wait for no. 100!
Thank you so much my dear friend! I always take so much joy from knowing that other lovers of Skyrim enjoy my content, especially when they are content creators themselves. @@robertpolk6596 thank you so much! I've always enjoyed character creation and storytelling in RPGs, it makes every play through feel unique and fun in a new way. I have lots more builds to do, so I'm not stopping anytime soon!
Ah Spellbreaker. I actually used this shield in my recent oblivion run paired with madness armor and the madness sword. Matches semi well actually. Might be a bit harder to use here due to the ward not being the strongest, but I’ve heard that restorations “ward absorption” trait affects it so here’s hoping on that. I just really want to use the perk where you can charge into enemies with your shield raised and send em flying! Lovely build though, may see if I can’t apply any of this to my planned build for Skyrim… basically gonna recreate what I did in oblivion, but leveling restoration might be a pain as a sword board haha
@@sonnitude sounds like a nice combination of gear! Yes, the ward absorb perk from Restoration works for Spellbreaker's ward. If you have the Warlock's Ring and the Staff of Hasedoki equipped, you can apparently have 3 wards stacking (but I haven't tried yet). If you use Restoration for healing rather than potions, then it doesn't take too long to get to a point where you can use Repel Undead spells to power level and unlock the ward absorb perk. Or if you prefer, you can buy training at the college of winterhold. The shield charge perk is one of my favourite perks in the whole game 😁
Great build as always, I kinda want to ask if you could maybe do a Gladiator theme build from the Fighters Guilds based on Ridley Scotts upcoming film. He ought to have to Grand Champions Helm/Sword and the Lord's Mail from creation (or Enclosed Imperial helmet/sword and Tullius Armor via spider hack) with the Champion's Cudgel and Targe of the Blooded. These items with the right perks I am sure you can make a fearsome Warrior suited to be an God of the Arena.
