- Queen of Macba is a game of skate where anything in the plaza count (ledge, stairs etc...)
It's one attempt each until the word MACBA is spelled out.
Spots must be alternated when in command, so you cant pick the same spot two times in a row.
Defence has 2 tries and 3 tries on the last letter.
The picnic table must be used one time in the game.

back in the day you had to skate good in order to get recognition, nowadays being influencer is enough , since this is a macba game of skate and not your local skate park game they should’ve chosen the skaters more carefully i would say 😂

To be honest I could picture them letting a scraped manual slide too(in the girls event anyway). Really the girls event shouldn’t even exist. They can’t bring enough girls who are versatile enough to defend against the most basic tricks

Probably wasn’t that hard to picture that outcome when there is only 3-4 girls that have a decent trick selection & can defend against more than Ollie’s and 180’s. Julia, Monica, Aldana & Roos are the only possibilities. The rest are just some girls who skate at MACBA on a regular basis & just got asked so they could fill some extra slots. The girls version of the contest it too basic to even exist
Julia is the most underrated street skater in women’s skateboarding. It’s crazy how good she is. You should go watch her WBATB submission for the first year they did it if you haven’t seen it already.

She has no pop. Her ollie technique, at least at this point, is quite poor. You don’t need much to go off sets, just momentum and courage.
