- Queen of Macba is a game of skate where anything in the plaza count (ledge, stairs etc...)
It's one attempt each until the word MACBA is spelled out.
Spots must be alternated when in command, so you cant pick the same spot two times in a row.
Defence has 2 tries and 3 tries on the last letter.
The picnic table must be used one time in the game.

Either no more flatground or only one flatground trick next year please! Totally defeats the purpose of the contest if you can just do flatground lol Also Julia only used the picnic table on defense, I thought each participant had to use it once on offense
Picnic table is not a part of Macba, so it shouldn't be there at all

@@petkokrushev3840 a table or a hydrant is the sponsor's object, that's why it has stickers on it. If you're gonna sponsor the next season, I'm sure they can do it without added objects.
totally agree for flatground tricks ,was a good game but 3 flatground tricks to get letters (sw hardflip, nollie tre and for last letter nollie hardflip ) i didn't find it good (my opinion anyway;)
Or learn flatground. If I ran this page I would ban you from watching next year for saying please make more rules.

ACCORDING TO THE RULES JULIA SHOULD BE DISQUALIFIED BECAUSE SHE DIDNT ATTEMPT A PICNIC BENCH OF HER OWN TRICK. why have a picnic bench rule when each person doesnt attempt her own trick own it. each person should have an offense on the bench trick would make much more sense to have that rule.

But IMO the battle match up was perfect, because these two cornballed their way thorugh the season into the finals.

That was the most anticlimactic ending to a dope contest.
Please change the rules on flat ground, they should at least have to do it over an obstacle or something. You could literally show up and just do mainly crazy flat, and not even skate the spot.

If you do a flatground trick over an obstacle is no longer flatground 😂, it is a flip trick.
But I agree, the tall girl only did flatground trick and "slides" that didn't slide at all 😂😂
Macba flatground is insane tho.. thats one of the main reasons people go skate there

Congratulations, Julia. Roos was really smooth, but she went heel flips and gaps knowing Julia couldn't really do consistent heel flips, and no gaps due to her rolled ankle. Then Julia went: okay... let's go hard flips then. What a battle!!!
Exactly lol both played against others weaknesses.
These type of battle really highlight how hard it is to be a complete skater and be proficient at everything. I was rooting for Roos because I think she's overall a really good skater, but fair play to Julia, who is also damn good.

And yet roos was about to do a second heelflip gap after Julia announced she couldn't do heelflips. Two heel flips over a gap that was almost the same size seems just as unfair as using completely different flatground tricks

Each skater is supposed to be using the table at least once right? Julia used it just in defense which I guess it would not count?
I was rooting for Roos but Julia won fair and square. That being said, please add a flatground rule, like 'not twice in a row' (same for manuals possibly)

Wow, that’s a hell of come from behind win! If I’m going be critical of the rule set I would say that you should not be able to set more than 1 flat ground trick; maybe a rule tweak for next year. No shade to the winner, she won fair and square.

I do think that they should limit flat ground and any repeat actions/obstacles to make heads have to use as much of the plaza as possible, though.

Totally agreed. Win for Julia so grats for that! But i really rooted for Roos and hoped her to win, and i kind of see her as a winner or possibly rematch. 'cause the picnic table rule thing
Wow, I though Roos was gonna win. Hey, both girls are great skaters, but this final def shows that we need a little change in the rules. Of course I'm talking about flatground tricks - 3 letters is no good, Macba contest is not a game of skate, where you can throw a few quirky double flips or late flips and win it. Maybe you need to set the max amount of flatground tricks each skater can try within one game, let's say no more than 2 flatground tricks (or even better no more than 2 tries!). Please use the spot and be creative, it's a battle at Macba, we don't want no regular game of skate here. 🙌

Julia deserves it, she is relaxed and plays fair, also Omar Hassan is a great judge, and the host looks like Munky from Korn
@DanS She talked about her ankle sprain, and she tried very hard that nollie gap, she landed, what's wrong with flatground tricks in one of the best flatground to skate in the world.

There is a lot of comments about the flat tricks, I didn't notice if Julia did two in a row. But it is a GAME , you can use technic , spots or either the other weak points to win! And that's what Julia did and it's great ! I would do the same !

Plz change those rules.. The picnic table wasnt in both offense, the manny and flatground tricks need to be look into. This was a disapointing final in my opinion, this game wasnt representative of the macba plaza at all.

Very competitive game! They really went after each other's weaknesses. Both skaters wanted it bad! Great game and great series. And I say keep the flatground in it. The format is great and it allows each skater to shine in her area of strength.

It bacomes really messy when some one plays game and says opponent i cant do that - so dont do that. Same time she strikes nose manual two times in the game and hardflips two times in a game. People is angry with outcame. Best thing to do would be replay the game.

and if they havent done it on offense before the last letter to eliminate the defender. the picnic table should be attempted.
the judge should make sure the skater attempts a bench trick before game is over
