It's crazy the Facehugger sequence took 3 weeks to shoot, it seemed so viciously short on screen. The adrenaline pumping vibe of the film is added by amazing sound design and editing.
It was probably cut at parts too

The runtime for this movie should have been 2H 15 Mins. Alien Romulus is an Entertaining movie but felt very rush. No breathing space, so to speak..
It would be cool to see the characters plan their strategies to escape and have abit of a downtime.
It builds up anticipation as well..
Well it was confirmed by Ridley Scott that the movie was originally longer but he told fede to cut stuff out cause he felt like it would end up losing people through half way of the film so that explains why it felt rushed and that’s the one Ridley Scott saw before when Fede showed him the movie

well the original movie doesn't really have a ton of downtime either. There is a lot of buildup, but once the xenomorph comes out, the crew is pretty much getting offed one after the other. Personally Romulus didn't really feel that rushed to me.

After a short period, Amanda joined with group of space crews going to another space station called Replicants to stop more than Xenomorph and other aliens too.

Such an absurdly awful movie that makes no sense, and ruins Cameron's Aliens sequel worse than Alien 3 did.
It just wasn't that great. The first 3 mins gave me hope. They could've done their own story. I still think Alien 4 had better gore than this movie. Which is weird since Fedes Evil dead was really bloody.
This is an unserious film, made for vacuous Gen Z ers. It’s a 4/10 at best with its biggest flaws being: 1. Story, 2. Cast, and 3. The over abundance of call backs to better Alien films, and the theft of iconic lines from iconic characters.
I’d love to see you make a movie oh wait u have no talent or funds to do so 😂
