Awesome content! I’m an adult and around the same size 5’5 @ 147 lb and would like to get into this trail stuff.
No experience 😢 I was thinking of a xtrainer and keep it oppose to crf 250f then wanting to upgrade to something lighter .

XTrainers are a great bike to learn on. I highly recommend them. Go for it and have fun!

Hey James what part of Arizona are you in? You mentioned cactus. I just ordered a 24 xtrainer myself from a dealership in Phoenix. I'm located near Tucson.

@@jm6918 You mentioned Mike at dirt riders West. That's where I'm getting my bike from! From the conversations I had with him seems like a great dude! I'm very interested in the suspension upgrade you did. That's something that's on my radar to do on mine at some point. Do you mind me asking you what it cost to do that kyb fork?

@@OdysseyOffroad Mike is awesome! He's helped me out a lot and always continues to do so. I think the total was 4300 for the KYB and Ohlin rear? The xtrainer fits me so well that I just figured, the heck with it and I'll go all in on suspension. Unfortunately with the fires closing areas down, I haven't tried them out as much as I'd like. let's hope wildcat opens back up in a few months.

@@jm6918 I didn't realize you had wildfires up there in Scottsdale. I'm down in the Tucson area plenty of riding here

Hello James, I also have a 28in inseam and was considering getting this bike. I'm afraid it may be too tall. Are you able to reach the ground with both feet? If so how much? Thank you
