THIS CAR WAS MENT TO BOOGIE IN A HURRY !! 12.5 SEC. 1/4 MILE WITH THE 426 HEMI , IT WAS FASTER THAN THE LS - 6 CHEVELLE !! POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO THE CHALLENGER WAS A LIGHTER CAR !!
We have sold this car it is going overseas. So they have to pay like 60% import tax on-top of the price. This is the second 440 six pack we have sent overseas. It's almost sad Americans don't want to step-up and buy them.
@@StreetDreamsTexas My 1974 Challenger 4 speed always had synchro transmission problems. Went to a Borg - Warner 4 speed in a 79 Camaro and had no problems.
I own a 70 Challenger that I painted white and added the black interior. I have owned it since 79. It has a built 340 with a 727 Torqueflite. 8 3/4 reared. I drive it weekly. I also own a 70 GTX 440-6 automatic. I drive it a lot less. It drinks 93 octane fuel like water. Beautiful car and looks just like mine. I will never sell my cars. I have had them longer than my sons who were born in the 80s. They will receive them when I can no longer drive. My cars have been with me through the good and bad parts of my life. I sit down in them and instantly I am a teenager again. Everywhere I drive them people enjoy talking and reminiscing about a by gone time that seemed simpler. I hate that this 70 R/T is leaving the states. It is one really fine example of Americana.
Kowalski would approve for sure
Yessir!

@@StreetDreamsTexasThat’s why my 79 Camaro with a 4 speed built small block has so many non Chrysler options?
@@hoppes9658 I can't really understand what you are asking.
