  • I changed the stock slick tyre that came on my Pint X for a Hoosier treaded tyre. It only took about 2-3 hours but I did encounter a few problems along the way. I hope this one helps you out with any problems you may have encountered whilst attempting to do the same.
    Enjoy.

      You’ll be fine. I was a little nervous to do it to begin with.
      Good luck. 💪🏼

    Great video! You can also remove the valve core when deflating first tire and not put it back in until you have seated the bead in the new tire. Speeds up the deflating in order to put in sealant. Probably save about as much time as it took to write this out haha.

    Great how to. Smooth until 3:25 where you seem to effortlessly pull the tire off by peeling and holding it? Aside from tips on an upper body workout, what am I missing one hour in and I’m bout to get out my cutting torch. 😬

    • @skling
      @skling 2 года назад +1

      Solved! You pried the deep well (corded) side of the hub off first! The shallow (uncorded) side leaves a nice gap to grip and pull through.

      @@eekdestroy5329 Yes! Success. Getting the new tire on was also tricky. I ended up buying a tire spoon, but success! Thanks for the video.

      Hi. If you just search for 'hoosier tyres', it'll bring up your local dealer. You have to call them up to order. 👍

    Use 2x2 thick timber instead of 2x1 then it won’t snap and you won’t bend your precious level!! 😜

    Hey nice video! Is it compulsory to remove valve core ?
    Thanks.

    • @eekdestroy5329
      @eekdestroy5329  Год назад +2

      You don’t have to, it’s just easier to get the air out quickly. You wouldn’t be able to get the tyre sealant slime in there without taking the valve core out either.

      To seat the bead. You have to keep going until it pops back in.
