I really do love sewing, and that could possibly be my hobby someday. I know that I do a lot of repairs on my families, clothing, and make new dresses.
When we were still Amish, we used to do most of all of our sewing now we can buy a lot of it. But I still enjoy it.

I also love to take a dress and revamp it to fit me, or sew a blouse and a skirt together for a dress!! But it doesn’t always work out for me either… but I guess I showed you a dress that turned out well!! But I made a white and red flowered dress right after the yellow dress, that turned out lovely as well!! Be blessed my friend!!💕

Oopsie- thus the budget is lean. I stopped by the thrift store and purchased 2 sets of pillow cases- one turned into my skirt, the second will be a summer dress- light weight- perfect for canning & working in the garden. Thank you for all you do. I appreciate you both💕

Becky that was awsome. your sewing room reminds me of my sister's, after her daughter got married she made her room into a sewing room,she has all of her sewing notions on display it's a peaceful room which I love to sit in , I have never seen a dress done like that before it's like having a template, you are extremely creative you looked lovely in the dress thank you for sharing sharing

I'm going to be sewing my first cape dress and I'm a bit nervous but my friend will be helping me. Actually I'm a beginner at sewing so I'm being a bit brave at doing this. Thank you for this video.

I do know a cape dress is not as simple as making the dress as is … but if I find the right thickness of material, I don’t add a cape. But sometimes I will wear a strap shirt underneath to avoid seeing thru!! More than one way to do it.. and if you get that cape dress done, let me know how you did with it!!🤓 And,cape dresses are so easy and simple to wear! Slip in and zip it up!

It looks beautiful on you! When I see you sewing that dress, it looks sooooo easy to do. But I know for sure, when I would try to sew a dress without a paper pattern, it would be a disaster😥. But maybe it has to do with just daring and enough confidence in a good result🤔

When I was younger, mom taught me to make a quilt. I still have that quilt. I just passed it on to my daughter and told her Not to Ever get rid of it. It's the one thing I cherish the most.😊
