I don't know what the inside diameter of that barrel is, but it looks like a .22 caliber barrel brush is just what you need. If that's too big, there are also .177 caliber brushes. Might not even need brass bristles, nylon would work well. I would recommend you get a brush with a brass core to avoid scratching the vaporizer. Both Pro-Shot and Brownells have those at reasonable prices.

I've been vaping my Apimaye hives through the front door for a few years now. At first with a home built gas vap with a long 3"-ish pipe, and now with the Lorobbee front entrance unit. It works just fine. The heat from the pipe barely melts any plastic and hasn't caused any functional issue. Just slight cosmetic damage to the 1 entry hole I use. I hold the unit though, and don't let it hang there. If for some reason you managed to melt your front entrance reducer, you could buy a new one. They are replaceable.
That battery unit looks like it would need a pipe extension to fit though. The 100VAC units work fine with the front entrance setup.
No need to gyrate around making hive adapters for OAV. Just stick the pipe in the front door.

Late to the party, but just wanted to say something about the insulation that you put in the top of your hive that had the reflective layer. You may not know about something called emissivity, but it’s a measure of a material’s ability to reflect infrared energy. You’re choice of this silvery material has a high emissivity rating as any shiny silver surface does, and will pay extra dividends in the winter for keeping heat inside the hive.

FYI 4g makes them go broodless and causes supersedure etc.

OA Vaporization is way over rated. both in effectiveness and the time unvolved.
    Been there .. done that.
Way better ways to utilize OA .

yes. first of all im probably one of thr first US beeks to use OA. over 25 years now. commercial. over 1000 hives for 30+ years. No tactic or other synthetic mite control since cumophaus failed. all organic.
We manufactured and tested all sorts of vaporizers. and put them to the test. testing mite counts and fall rates.
do you know when the drop falls of on Fogging? when it's high. when it tapers. when it stops?
      24 hours? 48? 72? more? less.
      I do .
bottom line .. unless the bees are broodless the mites will outrun you.
go ahead and try. Not enough OA contact amount time.
Get your mad scientist hat out and make hundreds of formulations like I did.
FYI. our last wash 3 weeks ago I ran
7 samples. 5 mites on 1916 bees. .0026% trust me. it's not from OA fogging. the only high ones I encountered where those not treated in 10 months.
yes I counted ever bee and every mite. do with all. hundreds of samples this year.
don't ask for the recipe. or recipes. not selling them for a million bucks. my time is worth more than that. plus our bees thrive. best pay in the world
