Fantastic job! The fun you’ll have with it will be priceless! Richard I don’t know if you know how lucky you are to have Christina helping and enjoying these projects as much as you do. She’s a gem!
Ahh...thanks Robert. I'm pretty darn lucky myself!
I just got an 83 f 150 full full patina, wish me luck!!!
Christina. Please don't let those "nay-sayers" get to you. You are doing a wonderful job of remodeling your 52 Chevy. I love your creativity and being able to work within financial constraints. Well done, you!!
Thank you Douglas 😊
I loved this movie of the new makeover for $400. This was so much fun to watch. Christina you are very smart. I am 78 and remember these cars. Love to both of you.
Thank you!
Wow. Looks. So. Good. Seats. Looks fits. Perfect. Great. Job. Thanks
Glad you got the original front seat back in, that interior looks great
Liked the extra touch with the V on the vent control 👍🙌👏 Lovely talented couple 🤗 Night and day transformation , like your step back and think approach before spending .
Thank you!
Your car, your ideas, your budget, and what a fantastic result.
Thanks Gavin!
Christina, you did an excellent job in finding certain materials for the door panels. They look great! Richard, you did a great job painting the dash and door trims. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Vincent! We appreciate you 🙏
That really came out nice, and reasonably cheap too! This is what my son is going to have to watch so he can do his 50 ford shoebox! Thanks so much for the great video!
You;re welcome Bill. Good luck on the Ford.
Really incredible. I love innovative ways to make a project look great on a budget and this certainly does that.
Cristina, you certainly delivered, awesome job, alot of time , blood, sweat , tears, thank you

Thank you Doyle!
Absolutely love seeing y'all work together on projects together! The 52 is looking great on a respectful budget! She is going to be a cool cruiser! My wife helps me on my 1960 Impala on some projects! This is TEAM effort!
The creoil I got from y'all is awesome! Happy motoring!
Thanks Robert! Happy to hear you like the Cre-Oil.
Brilliant the, Dynamic Duo strikes again! The budget limit didn't hold you back at all. I'm sold on your bold.

Great job Christina & Richard! Looks beautiful. Myself I like the look of the old school knobs, but do what makes you happy! Looking forward to future episodes on it as well as the Camaro. Be well.
Thank you! I'm excited about the Camaro myself:-)
You guys are absolutely amazing. So great to see the old 52 Chevy get the TLC the old girl deserves.
Thank you! We agree, she did deserve TLC
The different projects you get into, will, I do enjoy your videos and the work you both do 😮 keep up the good work.
Thank you Phillip 😊
That is beautiful. I would drive her. Good job you guys. Keep the classics alive.
Thanks Ron! We're trying:-)
Great job! You will look good cruising around when finished and maybe even a few car shows on a weekend
Richard and Christina…nice job. It is fun to watch this type video. Many of your younger viewers don’t have funds to do a full body off restoration and this proves making a nice cruiser on a budget is possible. No sponsor help just $400. Do a little at a time. Nicely done. Now for the exterior…not that patina crap after Christina cleaned up the interior. Instead go for a rustoleum roller paint job then wet sand and buff. Stay safe.
Thanks Richard! You are not the first to voice over the patina look. You guys have my Richard thinking 🤔
Just watching how well you two work together and enjoy doing things together really brought back some memories for me of my time with my late wife, Glenda. Many couples have no idea how much more fun a marriage can be because they don't work at finding common things they can enjoy doing together. That bonding is impossible to describe and I miss it so much! Good luck on finishing the rest of the car. She looks great (Christina, but the car, too!)
Thank you Richard. You always have such kind words.
Happy to see you working on her
Wow! The red and white interior really pops! Nice work, ESPECIALLY for $400!
Thanks for watching! Much appreciated.
Good afternoon Christina and Richard. Seen a few of your video's. How you Restore and bring back to Life these Beautiful and Glorious yesteryear American Classic vehicles is a True Inspiration to your viewers. Absolutely Love and Enjoy your Incredible Channel. Well Done to a Wonderful couple like you both. Kindest Regards from Jonathan. 🙂🙂❤❤👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Johnathan! Much appreciated 🙏
Christina & Richard, great job the Chevy, she’s really looking great! When I was younger, my headliner was coming down and I bought an inexpensive flannel sheet to replicate the factory material and color - spray glued and it looked original. All the best to you both, enjoy your channel.
Thank you Rich. Flannel sheet...interesting.
nice job Chritina and Richard the idea to doing a low budget interior you nailed it. the key is to do your own thing and enjoy it,ty for doing what you do for us
Thank you! Appreciate you watching:-)
She looks amazing.. You 2 nailed it..well done on the budget..Love the new look.
Thanks Dwayne! Appreciate you watching
That is an amazing transformation on the interior!!! Wow! 😎 love the red and white!! And to have Lula's original seat to install back in the car is the icing on the cake! (Those old Cadillac seats might be able to be made into cool living room couches. I think that would be an idea worth exploring.) Lula looks great! Awesome work Richard and Christina! 👍👍👍
Thanks very much David!
Congrats Richard & Christina. That ‘52 Chevy reminds me of a ‘52 Olds 88 we had in Cuba years ago. Love your videos. Cheers from Jerome & family in California.
Thank you! I'd love to visit Cuba someday:-)
Great job Christina...and Richard of course!
Thank you! We appreciate you 🙏

Nice work Christina and Richard. Would love to see you guys weekly, miss your honest enthusiasm and expertise.👍👍🇨🇦
Thanks Dan! We're trying:-)
Christina is definitely a keeper!LOL
She did a great job with limited funds and no real experience at it! Reminds me of the days of buying 100 dollar cars from back yards and fixing them up back in the early 70's!
Ahh...thanks Johnny!
You guys make a great team! I really enjoy your videos. The 52 is coming along nicely. The interior looks great for a budget rebuild. Goes to show that you can enjoy the old car hobby on a budget. Great job!
Thanks Tony! Appreciate you watching

Very good job, like the song goes, you did it your way!
I think it looks real nice good job
Great transformation, well done you two.
Thank you!
Excellent job with thar budget. My brother and I did the same to a 51 Mercury about 60 years ago and we spent 125.00 back then which was a fortune so your 400.00 budget is so creative. Thanks for the entertainment.
Thank you!
You're welcome. Glad you liked it.
Great job!! Looks amazing! :)
Those know covers are awesome!
Thank you! I surprised myself with the idea🤣
LOL I helped a friend do some door panels for his old truck & the awesome thing was it was voting season so he picked a bill board from some one he didn't vote for & it worked out just fine. ( after voting season was up ) If you use some materials that some viewers don't like then by all means have them send some funds your way but till then Mija you work with what you have. Bueno standing by for the next video stay safe & stay OLDIE Bueno Bye.
Old yard signs, what a great idea! Thanks for sharing 👍
Love the thinking outside of the box and making to where everybody can do their projects on a budget.❤
Thanks Donna! It's so true, if I can do it anyone can.
The interior is way better than i was expecting, you did a crackerjack job!
Thanks Don!
guys you made a fabulous job of the of the interior. Well done
Thanks Dave!
Good job on a reasonable budget.
What a transformation! the red and white with black really looks good! The exterior in satin black would look nice too!
Thanks Mark. We are thinking about what to do with the exterior. Spare time is very limited, we have to do something since the car is rusting just sitting in the garage.
Great job!
Christina, you were awesome in this video.
Amazing what you can do with little money and a lot of ingenuity.
Very educational too. Well done Richard and Christina!
Thanks Gary! Appreciate you 🙏
Outstanding job Christina for the knobs on the car that's a pretty ingenious idea if you ask me I never would have thought about it I think you and Richard are the best y'all make each other laugh and you know what you're doing when you're working on vehicles I think y'all is fantastic keep it up fantastic
Thanks William. More to come!
Folks this is the best example of rehabbing an old car. One fine job Richard and Christine you have proven the little guy can do this hobby. BTW Billet is dead as no one can afford that and even the magazine Street Rodder the ultimate Billet is dead and gone. BTW I had a pal cut up appliance panels for floor panels. Adapt, improvise and overcome. GREAT JOB GUYS 👏👏
Exactly Tom!
That interior looks amazing! Awesome job! Love the videos.
Thank you! Much appreciated 🙏
What a great video! The interior looks great with red and white colors. Good collaboration and camera work helped keep the content fresh too. Looking forward to your next segment on the Chevy. Thanks!

you both did such a great job on that interior, always love all your vids!
Thank you Paul! We appreciate your support 🙏
Christina Did A Great Job ON The Door Panels On The Chevy
When using fiberglass, I use plastic cutlery to press the sheeting into place. They are cheap and throw-away. Great video on doing sentimental restoration on a budget. Richard and Christiana (I hope I spelled your names correctly) are such wonderful people. Be well and keep letting these old machines live on.
Thanks very much for the support Mat, and for the tip!
@@whattherust good work. but why not weld plates at the bottom? it's faster and lasts better it surprises me 🤔 and no workbench ?
@@tommynygaardjensen8398 Los of people don't have a welder, so I wanted to show there is another way that anyone can do.
Interior looks great
Good video. Learned a lot and can revert back to this one if needed. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
You guys are a fabulous team!! Don’t allow any negativity from people who don’t have your talent!! I think your solutions to saving money are thoughtful and worked out extremely well! I can’t believe this was your first time Christina… the results speak for themselves. You guys are great together and I love your chemistry. I enjoy the restorations as well since I have a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback that I’ve been driving for 51 years! Keep up the great work and I wish you much success on your channel.
Thank you for the great comment Dave!
You guys are awesome, great job.
What is so amazing is your $400 budget and how much in place. I stay away from those with an unlimited budget..you are real and we do identify with you..
Again wonderful job ...keep the great content coming ..
Thanks Russel! Appreciate you watching.
Simply beautiful.
Thanks Deke!
Great video, both of you. The interior turned out awesome 👌. The wife and i are happy to see a video pop up missing your videos and comments. Have an incredible day, both of you.
Hey guys! I was trying to catch up on your content a couple nights ago. How's that beard coming? Richard lost his dad in February and we took a month off to morn the world loosing a great man. I think you understand.
@Christina Rust I truly understand that feeling and how much it drains your soul. Big hugs for you both because there is no words. Much love and respect from us to you both 🙏.
