Christina. Please don't let those "nay-sayers" get to you. You are doing a wonderful job of remodeling your 52 Chevy. I love your creativity and being able to work within financial constraints. Well done, you!!
Fantastic job! The fun you’ll have with it will be priceless! Richard I don’t know if you know how lucky you are to have Christina helping and enjoying these projects as much as you do. She’s a gem!
LOL I helped a friend do some door panels for his old truck & the awesome thing was it was voting season so he picked a bill board from some one he didn't vote for & it worked out just fine. ( after voting season was up ) If you use some materials that some viewers don't like then by all means have them send some funds your way but till then Mija you work with what you have. Bueno standing by for the next video stay safe & stay OLDIE Bueno Bye.
I loved this movie of the new makeover for $400. This was so much fun to watch. Christina you are very smart. I am 78 and remember these cars. Love to both of you.
WHOA!!! GREAT JOB ON THE FLOOR !!! Talk about dirty jobs!!!! Christina. Great job on painting the headliner too !!! Interior looks great!!!!! The knob covers. GREAT IDEA!!!
Christina, you did an excellent job in finding certain materials for the door panels. They look great! Richard, you did a great job painting the dash and door trims. Keep up the good work!
Liked the extra touch with the V on the vent control 👍🙌👏 Lovely talented couple 🤗 Night and day transformation , like your step back and think approach before spending .
That really came out nice, and reasonably cheap too! This is what my son is going to have to watch so he can do his 50 ford shoebox! Thanks so much for the great video!
Absolutely love seeing y'all work together on projects together! The 52 is looking great on a respectful budget! She is going to be a cool cruiser! My wife helps me on my 1960 Impala on some projects! This is TEAM effort! The creoil I got from y'all is awesome! Happy motoring!
Richard and Christina…nice job. It is fun to watch this type video. Many of your younger viewers don’t have funds to do a full body off restoration and this proves making a nice cruiser on a budget is possible. No sponsor help just $400. Do a little at a time. Nicely done. Now for the exterior…not that patina crap after Christina cleaned up the interior. Instead go for a rustoleum roller paint job then wet sand and buff. Stay safe.
@@christinarust6957 I think it would really take off and be a good idea 💡 for enthusiast Who are on a budget. Or part's that are not being reproduced. Brilliant.
Wonderful job it looks amazing love the door's and the dash and All the trim everything looks amazing you guys are awesome and I love the Chanel keep on keeping on
You guys make a great team! I really enjoy your videos. The 52 is coming along nicely. The interior looks great for a budget rebuild. Goes to show that you can enjoy the old car hobby on a budget. Great job!
Great job Christina & Richard! Looks beautiful. Myself I like the look of the old school knobs, but do what makes you happy! Looking forward to future episodes on it as well as the Camaro. Be well.
You guys are a fabulous team!! Don’t allow any negativity from people who don’t have your talent!! I think your solutions to saving money are thoughtful and worked out extremely well! I can’t believe this was your first time Christina… the results speak for themselves. You guys are great together and I love your chemistry. I enjoy the restorations as well since I have a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback that I’ve been driving for 51 years! Keep up the great work and I wish you much success on your channel.
Mr. B. Here ! You guys did a nice job , keep it simple get road ready and big money need not be the norm! Young people have never see vehicles like these am 70 that tell you were I coming from , car is cool ! Now about about the 51 Chevy?? Good job on the 52 !😊😊😊😊😊
nice job Chritina and Richard the idea to doing a low budget interior you nailed it. the key is to do your own thing and enjoy it,ty for doing what you do for us
That is an amazing transformation on the interior!!! Wow! 😎 love the red and white!! And to have Lula's original seat to install back in the car is the icing on the cake! (Those old Cadillac seats might be able to be made into cool living room couches. I think that would be an idea worth exploring.) Lula looks great! Awesome work Richard and Christina! 👍👍👍
Congrats Richard & Christina. That ‘52 Chevy reminds me of a ‘52 Olds 88 we had in Cuba years ago. Love your videos. Cheers from Jerome & family in California.
Christina & Richard, great job the Chevy, she’s really looking great! When I was younger, my headliner was coming down and I bought an inexpensive flannel sheet to replicate the factory material and color - spray glued and it looked original. All the best to you both, enjoy your channel.
Just watching how well you two work together and enjoy doing things together really brought back some memories for me of my time with my late wife, Glenda. Many couples have no idea how much more fun a marriage can be because they don't work at finding common things they can enjoy doing together. That bonding is impossible to describe and I miss it so much! Good luck on finishing the rest of the car. She looks great (Christina, but the car, too!)
Great job! Christina, you were awesome in this video. Amazing what you can do with little money and a lot of ingenuity. Very educational too. Well done Richard and Christina!
Very good job guys. Love what you have done with the interior. Love Christina to bits, even the way she doesn't know what she is describing.,I e saying head liner when she means roof. She will not be as good in 6 months time when she knows the words for everything. Remember I said I love her to bits. One thing I don't love is batina. Shiny guy who can't spell.
What a great video! The interior looks great with red and white colors. Good collaboration and camera work helped keep the content fresh too. Looking forward to your next segment on the Chevy. Thanks!
I have done door panels before and what I used was 1/8" pegboard you can get at any lumber outlet. I did put 1/8" foam on that before the final covering. That was on a 1957 Chevy and turned out great. The foam can be pressed down around the door handles and window cranks to make the m look good.
Excellent video Christine :) , Richard :) like Red & White makeover interior color also Black roof and hope do that did $400.00 budget too and looking forward more videos too on this car to ! Looking forward on Chevrolet Camaro too come up and Happy Easter Weekend to both also everyone!
