Halibut with Tama Miso, Crab & Mentaiko Rice with Nori & Carrot Puree

  • Today, I made tama miso, a Japanese-style miso-based sauce that has egg yolks in it! In this case, I paired it with halibut, along with mentaiko crab rice, and carrot puree. The mentaiko rice, was really the best part of this dish (although I wanted to mainly focus on the fish hahaha).
    Anyway, this is just one example of how tama miso can be used, and it's really delicious! Although here the protein happens to be fish, I realized it goes very well with chicken, or pork as well :)
    Stay tuned for many other variations of recipes that use tama miso as a base! (I already filmed a couple!)
