My daughter and I have been teacher my granddaughter who is now 22 months to sign since she was about 16 months and find that singing videos on RUclips have been very helping in bowing when she is hungry and thirsty
gm do you have a wider range of foods signing video? i was taught and I don't mean any offense by asking. the sign you done for chicken, where I live in Midwest be for bird and chicken is like non dominant hand cupped and bend dominant hand index finger and pecking the non dominant hand palm
I was practicing mirroring the signs made and I was wondering if it was the right direction or I need to use the same right as her. Would anyone happen to know?
Hi! If you are right-handed, your right hand should be your dominant hand and act as the primary hand when signing one-handed signs, and will be the "moving" hand (for example, if you are left-handed and signing "cheese" your left hand would be on top moving, with your right hand underneath being stationary). I know this is about a year late but hope this helps!
I think it’s just a different way to say something, like either or words. Also I learned a few words that r the same sign but different meanings, dependent upon how u use it in a sentence. Hope that helps.
I'm getting back into sign, and this is fantastic!
Scott Reacher agreed! 😊

Why does she sign the movement twice for “Eat”. I was taught verbs are signed once and nouns are signed twice
I think it was two different options for how to sign eat.
there's multiple ways to sign it, it really just depends on your preference
Gracie Pierre I yeah I just realized this. But signing the word multiple times with two hands could mean repetition too
Hannah Hofrichter yeah but typically if you sign it once it’s the verb and twice is the noun. Like for “book” vs “open a book”
@@tyree3774 she only signed eat once, she showed two variations but they were both sighed once
