This is almost always how it seems. The investigators always have the answers for the Prosecution, but all of a sudden major memory gaps when answering questions for the Defense.

Alec or any actor was just doing what their gunslinging character with no regards for safe handling of a firearm would do. Case closed.

As an armourer , it was her job to know . One that she clearly she was unqualified for . As a result of her laxity , lack of qualifications and ability , a lady lost her life , to include injuring another . 18 months only for such conduct ? No. She should never have been allowed near fire arms at all .She should be serving a lengthy sentence , as a lesson to all. . Furthermore , her alleged drug use was never questioned nor tested at the time - was it ? As for Baldwin , there is no law which determines that as an “actor” he should check the weapon himself after being handed it by a so called qualified professional . Albeit , all people should be properly trained in the handling of firearms. This case was ill founded , lost sight of the crux of the Baldwin matter and ALSO exposed the enormous incompetency and laxity of the Santa Fe Police Force , in all its forms . Furthermore , the Prosecution was equally inept . In all likelihood , Baldwin , although posturing in his woeful attempts of acting , was waving a gun around - on a negligent basis . And that basis is founded upon the sensible and known protocol of checking that which had been handed over . Had he done that , even without the expertise of knowing the difference between a “blank” , “ dummy “ round etc , at least he would have had huge and legitimate mitigating circumstances opposite this ill conceived , ill presented prosecution. He must have pulled that trigger , despite his claims to the contrary - as he postured around the place. Who or whom takes hold of a gun of any type from someone else without absolutely double checking ? But that’s trigger happy , guns freely available to America , a country of sloppy , dangerous liberal laws . The Constitution has not kept up with the valid reasons to bear Arms in protection of the Self , the Home and the Family. As for movie sets , the known irresponsibility and the ongoing promotion of violent movies , these violent rap songs whatever they are , with guns , promoting violence - is ABHORRENT. Get a grip America on sense , proper conduct , decent values and civilised behaviour and not be so gun trigger happy. Imo

It's very frustrating having all these interruptions. Surely the judge and the prosecutors should have decided on the various technical issues on presentation of evidence and lines of questioning ahead of the trial? I appreciate there might always be new and unexpected developments on this, but they seem not to have properly established the fundamental ground rules beforehand so now seem to be doing it on the hoof. I also remain bemused why any potential failures in the police investigation are relevant to the heart of the issue: the heart of the issue being AB's rather lackadaisical practices with his gun and whether he had any responsibility for ensuring there was no live ammo in the gun.

The blonde prosecutor lady is smart but she is obnoxious and disrupting, and mainly, she acts like the court is her own house. I honestly don't care about Baldwin and i find the other prosecutor to be doing a fantastic job. But the blonde prosecutor needs someone to tell her that the court is not a bar. Never before have i seen a prosecutor standing up again and again, telling the judge, "ok let's approach". A prosecutor ALWAYS objects, and then ASKS the judge for permission to approach the bench. This lady here will then approach the bench and lie on her side just like a drunk in her favorite downtown bar!! She also stood in front of the judge a couple of times with her hands in her pockets!! She also touches things in front of the judge!! Lady we know you are smart and capable. You would not be a prosecutor otherwise. Why is any of this relevant where from or who brought the live ammunition on to the set? We have determined this about Seth Kenny previously. The point of this case is who pulled the trigger and why. Did that gun go off on its own or by human intervention?? Is this not what we are here to determine??? All this live rounds chat is tedious. We know there were live rounds because people got shot! I don't get why we are going over this again? HGR was already convicted of this point. She got it initially when using it on another movie, then brought the leftovers to the Rust set to save money, so they didn't have to spend little money the budget allowed on purchasing new boxes of prop rounds. It is completely irrelevant who/where those came from. She brought them on to the set. End of story. Baldwin isn't on trial for bringing live ammo on set. Confusing BS!!

Why would he stop his daughter from having an opportunity because of this that makes no sense and sounds very selfish and emotionally warped perception is shown by those who believe this

I don’t like the blonde prosecutor, and I doubt the jury likes her either. The way she scoffs at and bullies the defense attorney is very off-putting and unprofessional. Zero civility.

She's really hard to listen to and painful to watch. Asking the same question over and over does not make for detailed examination.
She needs to stop saying "Let me ask you a question." 🙄

Why is mr. Baldwin on trial? Even if he checked the gun for bullets how should he be able to tell the difference of live and blanks with 2 mm in difference. And why should he even question the possibility of live bullets. It''s a god damn movie set. Who in the world would suspect that an idiot brought live bullets. If a car was used in the set and the brakes were not functioning the actor would be blamed to or? This trial is crazy.
