Been a subscriber for years. You need a gimbal if you want to film like this. Makes the video smooth and not so choppy. It's hard to concentrate on the recipes. Not being rude. A lot of us get dizzy for some reason. My son is a photographer that's the only reason I know what a gimbal does.

My food processor has a blade that I use to shred carrots, cheese or potatoes as well as a slicer to use for cucumbers, radishes, and potatoes. It saves the fingers and I do enough to fill a zip lock bag so when I need shredded carrots, cheese or sliced potatoes they are already done. Love your recipes. My pantry is on a smaller version and now all I need to worry about is stock my freezer with meat (pork chops, chicken, bacon, beef roast) as well as try my hand at doing some freezer meals. I do have a supply of butter and a little bit of sausage as well as ground beef but I want more to make fewer trips to the grocery store.

Hint on potatoes, watching a video and saw a woman bring home groceries and clean veggies and put in fridge… she wrapped each potato in what looked like parchment paper… I tied wrapping in tissue paper and some in brown paper lunch bags… and out in the coolest part of my pantry… it worried great! Potatoes I bough in January when I unwrapped look just like when I brought them home! I put s couple potatoes I each brown bag… I’m 64 and have always struggled with the best way to keep potatoes! This works fantastic!!

Love the creamy chicken taco idea! What a blessing to have two big pantries, and you make such excellent use of them, so organized and well-stocked! I never use a potato peeler - they seem slow to me, lol. A meat masher also does a great job of ricing roasted cauliflower, when you don't want to mess with getting out the food processor.

You asked if we ever couldn't find our measuring spoons. Well, I am 84 and no I haven't because I have never taken them off their ring. They nest back together after you wash them and there they are in a clump waiting until next time. I have a couple of sets so i can keep one set in a drawer by the stove for use when cooking on the stove and I have a set in my baking drawer where I do my baking. I also keep them in the front of the drawer. Now I will admit, there is only me now, so they go in the same place whenever they are used and put back. I hope this helps. Also, this drawer holds things like rolling pin, biscuit cutter (2 sizes) 1 cup glass measuring cups, nest of stainless steel dry measure cups, whisk, large stirring fork etc. Anything I need for baking. Under that drawer is the cabinet for baking pans and flour canister. Hope this helps you. Have a Blessed day. PS if you think I am being picky, I cooked in a school cafeteria feeling 250 kids a day, and you don't have time to spend looking for the tools you need, that spilled over into my home.

Instead of trying to shred the carrots the length of the carrot, hold at the root end and shred from the bottom up. Maybe a little on the diagonal. Also, don’t store your potatoes in the plastic bag they come in. Just lay them out in your bin. They need air flow.

These recipes are great! I made the chicken tacos YUM, beef tips were fabulous. I remade the leftover meat and gravy into a vegetable soup, and in the Mac n cheese, instead of butter, I used buttery garlic and herb Boursin. YUM. Thanks!!

I had to grate carrots the other day for a coworkers bday carrot cake. My grater is from the 80s. I’d suggest a food processor lol

Kimmy, you need a food processor. It will save time and your fingers. I love, love your videos.
