Most families in Sweden don't have their own sauna, but I suppose it's not uncommon, either. I think it's more common among newbuilts tbh. And maybe in the countryside.
It's true, almost in every Finnish home, in Sweden you usually put stuff in there, my mom put extra matresses in the sauna. Want to move to Finland one day.
I am BAFFLED by the way she put the shower in to the wall so it looks like the shower head is actually coming out of the wall. Why have I never thought of this😱 I am playing the sims for almost 24 years. HOW.
I knew about it, but it always seemed to me that the plain wall paint would get ruined IRL, which is the reason for the tiling being included in the shower itself. I may have done it if I was using a tile feature wall in that corner and didn’t like the tile in the shower object, though.
I’m from America(very close to Canada) and grew up in a very modest home that was built by Swedish immigrants in the 1940s. They made a sauna room in the basement and we loved it during the cold winters!
I only discovered your channel recently and I wish I'd found you earlier! Watching you build and decorate has taught me more in this past month than I'd known in the 23 years of Sims playing. Your tips and tricks have made the game so much easier and way more fun for me. Thank you, Deli!
In Sweden its not very common with saunas in your house, but in Finland it is!! Almost everyone has a sauna, and even apartments will have them in Finland😅
@@deligracy I rarely warm it up if I'm home alone, but yes, sometimes it's great to sit up there alone (sometimes even with a book). But if there are visitors, we always warm it up, especially if the guests are staying the night.

We do have an old real sauna in our house in Sweden (or bastu as it's called in swedish) but it's used for storage since for as long as I can remember. And it's not very big. Saunas is more of a finnish thing tho I'd say, even if I think all the Nordic countries use and like them.
It is common in the northern part of Sweden (where I live) to have a sauna in your house. But it’s even more common in Finland, pretty sure they even have championships in sauna bathing there 😊 I myself have an infrared sauna in my house but that’s not very common. The standard is a kind of steam sauna where you throw water on hot rocks that sits on the “heater” (the old ones you heat like a fireplace with wood but the most common now is electric).

Also, that Australian Kmart Target stuff is pretty interesting. Kmarts in America are trash. They are barely a step up from dollar stores. I don't even live near any Walmarts, so there are definitely no Kmarts. We have Targets which are considered your one stop shop.
You should do a tiny homes builds challenge were you used only the styles in the build and buy category selection tab. Rules , only allowed to use the style ticked! And base game as well!

What if you renovated the community lots in San Myshuno too? You could even create a residential rental apartment in San Myshuno!
What do you think? 😊
17:48 I think that it is herringbone, but the type of process for that particular wood is called chevrone
Mom: Have you seen my phone! (shouting down the massive hallway)
Teen: No. Have you checked your pockets!?
Mom: Yes 🙄!!!
Teen: In your hands?!
Mom: How dare you! 😠
Teen: 😈
Mom 5 minutes later: It's on the ground in the hallway along with my keys!!!
Teen: 🙄🤣
(Basically a little story of the apartment, and a nice way to say you left a phone and keys in the front entryway on the ground)
