(Ace, Sabo, Luffy) or (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, whatever your poison) And they had a falling out of sorts and grew up going in different directions. That’s why all of them were so anxious to meet and fight at God Valley. They probably tried to stop Rocks but ended up having to kill him. If all Rocks wanted was to destroy the current world government, then honestly there is very little reason for Roger and his pirates to get involved, because it’s obvious Roger held no love for the world government and the control they exerted over people. We have to remember Roger above all wanted to be free and, wanted everyone to be free! We know this because of how former members of his crew have reacted to Luffy saying His reason to become Pirate King is because they are the most free person in the world. Back to Rocks though, I guess you could say in a way Rocks wanted to destroy the world government but not completely…. If Xebec also hated celestial dragons and so does Dragon, doesn't it make sense that Xebec is Dragon hence why his own father had to come fight him as his bloodline is immensely strong. Plus we've also only ever seen silhouettes of Rocks D Xebec and don't even have a story of how Dragon got that face marking, many people who watch the anime or read the manga sometimes think dragon might just be a fake, as well as we know the leader of the revolutionary army is called the worst criminal and his bounty is unknown. And the WG wants to keep Xebec hidden too coz after the god valley incident Xebec/Dragon was defeated but maybe wasn't killed and then he went on to make his own army to take out the world government. Does it make a bit of sense?

I don't think Xebec was killing celestial dragons for noble reasons. Nobody really has anything good to say about the guy, aside from his strength everyone agreed that he was kinda a piece of shit. He likely went to god valley because of the two powerful devil fruits there.
