I bought the snow blower for mine. It does a really good job. Front mounted.
Good thing you're not in a hurry 🤣
Nice rig there. A snow pusher would make that go a lot faster, not just in pushing more snow at a time, but there's no bucket dump cycle time to unload the snow either. But if you're not going to get one, leave the bucket on the ground and doze forward as far as you can. That bow wave you push ahead of you is 2 to three time the bucket capacity. Use it to your advantage. Then go back and clean up the trails. A lot less cycles there as well chewing up time and wear and tear. A box scraper does wonders for snow as well. Can doze backwards with it as well as clean up bucket trails very quickly. Wish you a lot of success with your new machine....... Montana Dan
I agree there, makes sense. In this video I was more playing than production. I normally wouldn’t really use this machine for snow unless I did have a snow blade or blower. Thanks for the input
The tractor looks great
Thanks
Brand spanky new machine! Nice tractor. And it looks like it did quite well moving the snow. Not much snow sticking in the bucket. The R4s seem to do okay in the snow. I know a lot of guys gripe about them when they’re using them for snow plowing.
Any tire will work good I think. It’s a heavy tractor, and it’s 4x4 with locking diff.
I have r4s on my b2650 and never any problems on ice or snow. They don't tear up my yard either so I don't understand all the hype over tires. Probably just a bunch of arm chair experts who don't either own a tractor or know how to use one. I dont use edge tamers either because I know how to use a loader.
That thing sure seems handy. You pretty happy with it? We have a Kubota L3901 and I hav put a few videos up on it you may like. Nice machine and thanks for sharing. Have a Merry Christmas and stay safe. - Tom
I’m pretty happy with it, today I found out the diff locker is kinda tricky to engage, but other than that it’s flawless. I just did check out some of your videos! Nice tractor!
You might want to think about setting some jack stands under the back end of that trailer,, just a thought
Would help, but not much of concern unless the machine was heavier.
very good job
Thanks
You are smooth on that front loader...your backhoe tapped the asphalt coming off the trailer...you might want to do something about that.
Thanks! I didn’t have the thumb fully retracted, so the bucket wasn’t curled all the way.
@@nolanklein3370 it wasn't the bucket, its the base where it attaches to the tractor...you could do some serious sub-frame damage...on dirt, not a big deal, but that asphalt doesn't give.
WOOOOO what camera are you using? :) that is bright :) great video ty you do very nice work happy new years
It’s actually just the IPhone 12 Pro. All my editing is on the splice app. Thank you!!! Proves you don’t need fancy camera equipment for RUclips
@@nolanklein3370 I got the #iphone 11 but my video has the black lines :(
Good job just curious how much did you charge the customer for that work?
Over the $100 mark
Dude get a plow blade for that thing
Has anyone compared the bx23s to a atv snowplowing like we on slopes
The tractor will always be better. You have a bucket and loader arms to lift snow up and over things. Can’t do that with a atv plow.
Why does hood need to be open for heat to escape? Can’t stay closed?
Allows heat to rise and cool engine quicker. Closed hoods can cause premature dry rot on some rubbers in the engine bay.
Learn something new everyday, thanks
What size is your trailer ?
7x16
@@nolanklein3370 Thanks
You mean ...yet another overheating dodge. That right
Ain’t no hemi. Diesel for the win
@Matt P Until the warranty is expired & your paying out of pocket . Lol 😂
