    I definitely enjoyed the way that bx23s digested that bush with the bush hog👍👏👏👏👏👍❤️

    I ran a BX25 for about 6 years. Awesome little tractor.
    Ended up moving and bought a B2601 same foot print but just a little heavier, more horsepower, and beefed up hydraulics.
    Still, though, the BX23s is a very capable machine.

    Looks like it does really well even for a smaller tractor

    Very nice. Its seems that your BX23s isn't struggling at all with that tall stuff.

    Nice work! Are you protecting the under belly of your BX? There's a cooling fan that could break running in brush like that.

      Yes, I have the BXpanded under armor plate mounted.

    Great video. Thanks for sharing. I’m curious, how is the tractor and brush hog on hills? Do you side Hill or go up and down?

    • @nolanklein3370
      @nolanklein3370  Год назад +1

      Go up down. The counter weight with brush hog is a bit sketchy side to side

    Good job! I run a Massey Ferguson 1723 and a Woods RC4 and i'm not really sure I like how the Woods Rotary Cutter mows? Always leaving strat stalks of tall grass

    Didn't seem like the Kubota was lacking for power running that brush hog. Thinking of getting one for my BX, don't really need one, but I've had several people ask me if I could mow their pastures for them...only issues with that is people seem to think that when you ask if their pasture is clean, that pieces of concrete, concrete blocks, etc. are totally fine out there to run over with a mower LOL. Probably could get a few side jobs doing some mowing if I had a rotary cutter like that...they're not cheap though. I guess if I got a dozen $100+ jobs it would come close to paying for one...maybe guess that depends on how much stuff you break HAHA!!!

      The three point PTO has plenty of torque on the BX 23 S. Having a brush hog is always an easy money maker.

    How do you price something like that out? Hourly or per job?

    • @nolanklein3370
      @nolanklein3370  2 года назад +1

      Always per job. I’ve done very few hourly jobs. Always incorporate how long the job will take you though!

    How many rpms do you run on the tractor?

    • @nolanklein3370
      @nolanklein3370  2 года назад

      Depends on what I’m doing. Almost any movement requires something higher than idle, even wheels

      Yes it should, although I never tried it, it feels like it should. Just keep it slow

      @@nolanklein3370 Have woods mowing to do and need to be as compact as possible. Do you happen to know if the front weight kit is in the way of the loader? Have loader and use regularly.

    Around how much would you charge for a job like this?

    • @nolanklein3370
      @nolanklein3370  2 года назад +1

      All depends on how big the area is and what is to be brush hogged. Anywhere from $150-400 easy.

      A retention pond stores water permanently. This is a detention pond that only fills with heavy rains, and drains out. Thanks!

      What do you mean?

    • @damonr2233
      @damonr2233 2 месяца назад

      The cover on your pto shaft, technically supposed to have a chain on each end to keep the cover from spinning with the shaft. There are even grease fittings on the ends of the cover.
