Looking at the L2502 to cut my yard w a 6' finish mower. Z-turn kills my back. Currently have a older JD790 30hp that actually does well but seating is ruff. It appears thd 2502 has better seats w cushion & comfort.
My concern is the lower hp and speed. I can cut in 2nd gear at 4mph without lugging. Havd you checked your speed shredding. If so, please let me know. Also include what gear.
    Appreciate your great review.

Here is a video I made using the rotary mower:

Yes, the L2502 does have a suspension seat which is extremely comfortable. I also purchased the armrests, which is a necessity for me.
The manual doesn't show the max size for a finishing deck so I'm not sure if the L2502 would have enough power for 6 ft wide. If your grass isn't too thick, I would imagine it would cut it without bogging down. I would definitely do more research on the size limitations.
I cut in high 2nd gear, which is around 4mph and even in thick grass it doesn't have a problem. It mulches the grass really well at that speed.
I hope this info helps you in making your decision.

Yes, you're very helpful and quick response too. I cut about 5 acres of lawn grass in central LA. It seldom gets out of hand. Baded on your shredding I shouldn't have a problem and if I do I can over lap my cuts to make it 5' instead if 6'.
      Again, you are very helpful.

Did you have to get any special hardware for the canopy or is it just the universal kit? I saw on their website it said to let them know if extra hardware was needed for wider rops.

It is a universal kit made to fit most tractors. If your rops are bent forward, round, or a bigger square tubing, then they have a kit for that. The mounting kit is easy to rearrange for different configurations. Hope this helps.

@ I’m getting a 2502 and was going to do the same as what you got.

Nice tractor for light/medium duty work. Make sure you check your front axle for the proper oil level after you get it. I had to put over 2 quarts in mine. You will like the canopy also. Very affordable!

@@RayRayCanDoIt yea for sure, I use to build kubota tractors and sometimes people will miss little things on the PDI. I’m trading in my lx2610 for the L2502, I’m stoked to get it and put my accessories on it so I can get workin. Thanks for your replies and input! I enjoy the videos too!

I'm looking forward to the mods. I have the L2502 HST, only 20 hours so far. We have about 40 acres .

Hey do you have problems with that thing wanting to turn left all the time?

No, not at all. If yours is Hydrostatic it may be a pump issue if a manual maybe dragging brakes on left side. I would also check the alignment.
