@pyro5159 I feel like most of ShB Extremes were kind of mixed. Tatiana, Innocence was kind of a joke for my FC, I know someone who fell asleep during Ruby Weapon, and Eden was kind of a mixed bag.
But for every dud in that expansion, we get a Hades, which almost broke my static.

I thought the story was great. A little dry at the beginning but it came together at the end. I definitely had my moments and tears. People who had to deal with loss, this may be a little bit of a trigger.

I liked Endwalker but the finale felt less like a series of tearful sacrifices and more like a "these are their arcs" moment, only propped up by the Scions' reactions and thoughts. The finale here felt truly emotional by comparison, for this expansion to make me care about so many characters despite such short introductions was phenomenal.

You did better than on my first time cold on this, but, despite that, it was a lot of fun. The group I was in did wipe once. We were rolling along, doing fairly well, and then the thing about 6:30 hit and splat, 7 of 8 dead. We made it on the 2nd try, though.

This backfired because the AI had ulterior motives for helping him take the land (siphoning it's resources to sustain itself).

@@Loyaltymancer i'd argue any weird deliveries have more to do with direction. Sena *can* act. She proves it dozens of times in this expansion. But there are a few screams for instance where they sound like room volume. Which is 100% a directing issue

@@mavfin8720 So, after posting this I thought really hard about it……ARR was boring and dragged on forever with building lore and learning the history of each zone…..and then we were absolutely blown away by the story of Heavensward. So, I’m thinking that (if they stick to their usual pattern) that in a couple years when they release a new expac, that we’ll all be blown away at the MSQ! But for now, I’m perfectly satisfied with these incredible fights!!

The MSQ this time around is absolutely awful. Plotholes galore and a writer's fursona that won't go away. We get a slight reprieve in the Texas zone, but she comes back.

Victory lap really felt unnecessary this time around. Expansion in general was... fine. The first half was bad, though, and the writing in general was kind of juvenile this time around, which I found really concerning. The overall tone for the most part is much more cartoony and much more removed from reality than previous expansions, which I'm not personally a fan of. Hopefully the post MSQ is more interesting.
