I live in NYC, almost always feel safe. There’s safety in numbers. When I go to rural areas, I feel unsafe, like someone could pick me off and no one would ever know.
I completely agree!!! If I’m ever in the UK countryside I’m so scared someone is just going to abduct me into the fields 😂😂
@@hollyb_fitnesswhat 😂 I’ve been the the US and felt so uneasy and on edge all the time. The UK is significantly safer than the US. At least we don’t have the worry of guns 24/7
NYC has little crime when you consider that we have over 8 million people!! It’s an amazing city and so much fun!! Of course it’s not perfect but still has so much to offer.

I’ve lived in Nyc for 20 years now and there have been very few times that I’ve felt unsafe. I’ve lived in Manhattan and in Brooklyn and have felt safe 99% of the time , even with being a female out alone at night. My favorite time to run is at night and have had very few times where I’ve questioned being out at that time. But of course it all depends on where you are. You learn what neighborhoods to avoid with experience. But overall it isn’t like what it was back in the 80s and 90s. Nyc has become a pretty safe place to be despite the history.

I live in New York as a woman in her 20s (4+ years now) and agree it feels quite safe!! Depends where you are and what time of course but I feel like it’s such a huge misconception that New York is super dangerous. The crime rate is actually much lower than many other cities in the US. I love living here!!

I must agree with you! I went in May on a solo trip for a week and I have quite safe. I have been to other cities with people and have felt less save then I did last May on my own

Chafing - if you wore shorts with an inner lining then check there isn’t a little tear or hole in the lining bit. Same thing happened to me and didn’t know why. Didn’t notice the tears until a couple of runs (and chafes) later!
