    I am working with Theresa on my system and I gotta say it is a complex setup, WAY more involved than I expected. I am so happy she is there to help me get it up and running. Well worth the investment. I wasted so much time on that fucking opencore before and it never worked right. I’m so over that shit.

      @@brucet3270 the only thing you can really get from the videos is to understand the idea of the new way versus opencore (that I could never get working right). Every build in the new way is a different custom config so you won’t be able to do it yourself. You need to not waste your time and hire her to get it done. After watching Theresa do it for two hours straight ( and goddamn she is fast!) I can say it’s not trivial or cookie cutter, it depends on your system and she’ll probably point out weaknesses in what you have so you can make updates before the install.

      @@MorgonautHackintosh I think a better comparison would be related to its qualities. Like a rally car and a grand touring car. One is very good on off-road, the other on road.
      Regarding computers I would look at it as, focus on Audio Production / Video Production / Gaming / Coding / ...
      Though with your setup it is much easier to bring these all together!
      (as you are not weakened by OS or Hardware restrictions)
      I would love to see for instance a build focused on audio production (with Thunderbolt).

    • @Jehudi
      @Jehudi 3 года назад

      @@blevenzon Do you mean regarding computing power? As I don't think you would use 3 different OS's at the same time (could be). But once done with task on one OS you could switch to the other.
      I currently use a Virtualbox to have my corsair controller being controlled on mac OS. But the VMbox does not read BIOS stats, so these fans are kind of static and set to what I choose. I'm mostly interested in this way to run mac OS on any hardware. Without compatibility struggles. While Windows would handle stuff that I normally have to use a Wineopener for. (or a VMbox)

    Hello Theresa, I hope your health is better now. I am really thankful to you for your will to show us the way on how to do it the right (and new) way!
    My current configuration is i9-10900k so my vote for the processor goes to i9-9900k since they are similar in architecture.
    I have a question for the GPU though - in a few months I am planning to buy a new GPU to add to my configuration since I am currently still running my old GTX760 2GB and I am deciding between going AMD (RX 6700xt or RX 6800xt or RX 6900xt) and Nvidia (RTX3060 or RTX3070 or RTX3080) way.
    Which way in your opinion is easier to set up with triple boot?
    I am planning to run 2 VM's simultaneously for my day-to-day tasks (during my work shift I would like to switch between the macOS and Windows10) with the macOS to use the main GPU (new AMD or Nvidia card) and the Windows to use my old GTX760.
    After I am done with work I would like to shut down the macOS VM and turn on another VM that would be running Manjaro Linux and would also use the main new GPU.
    Is that kind of setup possible?
    Thank you for everything and I wish you happy and healthy holidays and a new year! :)

    Great video and great idea for a Live Stream. I've never built a Hackintosh but I use both a range a Mac and Windows systems and have dabbled with eGPU setups on MacOS to get more grunt for 3D and AI/ML. Like others posting here, I would be interested to see a build on AMD CPU with nVidia GPU - or multiple GPUs - as certain Apps (V-Ray, Blender, etc) only support RTX/CUDA capabilities for 3D rendering on GPU. That said, Intel w/ AMD GPU also appeals. Whatever you choose though, I am sure its going to be a great series and I can't wait to learn how to do it. Bring it on!
