Love this idea. Adding the “halos” is such a nice technique. I just ordered some spiral watercolor books and hope to do practice figures. Building my own reference library while doing “rehearsals” is a great idea!
I got an Art and Graphics twin marker in my Art Snacks box a little bit ago. I really like it, and I love your idea of coloring a stamp with it. Thanks!
Oh no! Now I want to buy ALOT more of these stamps. I really love the ones I own already. I got 3 of the Christmas sets for Christmas. I love the idea for the samples. Thanks for leaving in the mushed up bunny. That really helped. Hugs, treen
Thank you for a really helpful video - I was thinking I could manage with the AI stamp sets I have - but now I know better!! You are a great enabler as i have learned a lot form those of your videos I have watched as I am quite new to these water colour stamps, so thanks again. Kind regards, Jen UK
Thank you so much for sharing this. I love these AI watercolor stamps, and have built up a small collection...and need to PRACTICE, so I love seeing various techniques. I'm pretty sure I first got the AI bug after watching your video of the garden arch painting!
Oh these bunnies are like beatrix potter style. You can use these for a cute babyshower gift set tags, add a sentiment and you're done. I hate those classic baby stamp sets. But the bunnies are awesome.
Sandy are there any templates for Daniel Smith, M Graham, MG, Qor with the name of the color on apdf file to print out. I thought I would ask before I create the wheel. Thank you. 😚
I have to be totally honest, I really love you Sandy and think you’re very talented. However, and I say this with the utmost love and respect for you, I’ve watched several of your videos with Art Impressions stamps, and I’m not a fan. This is definitely NOT the “Art Impressions way”, and I don’t think you are trying to do them that way, but I almost wish you would maybe say that upfront. Of course you can color them ANY way you want to, I just think this looks so messy, and I’m a bit confused as to why you’re doing it like this. You’re using so much water that you’re losing most of the image and everything is running together. I’ll definitely continue watching you as I’ve done for years now, just not your AI videos.
Sandy Allnock no, I didn’t say or mean that, only that I don’t like the way you watercolor the Art Impressions stamps. I’ve watched dozens and dozens of your other videos, and haven’t seen ANYTHING I didn’t like before. Your Copic coloring, other drawing and coloring, making cards with scenes, I LOVE it ALL. You are EXTREMELY talented and knowledgeable in the art world, and I am sorry if I offended you.

I must get some of these stamps and try my hand at water coloring them. Love your work and thanks for sharing this idea of swatches. TFS

Wauw.... Amazing.. Thank You for sharing.
This is great!!
Love it!
beautiful…subscribed!
Welcome Sara!🥰
I'm curious about your thoughts on the markers. most AI videos use marvy markers. but you're using tombow. do you have preference?
+Katy Martin I've always liked Tombow a lot---they work about the same as Marvy--just size of the billet nib is different.

No. Most can’t print on watercolor paper with waterproof ink so watercolor charts aren’t possible as prints.

If I get lost in the comments. Remember meeeee
Excellent video! I store my AI watercolor stamps the exact same way - SU cases! They definitely look like grey blobs. a/k/a eliseartfulplay

shelly49 I guess I just don’t know why my style of coloring of these stamps is a bother when everything I do I adapt to my own style. 🤷🏼♀️
