I have 2 step children that I met when they were 4 yes and 6 months old respectively. I can imagine exactly how these dads feel. My kids are MINE and I would leave heaven and fight through hell just to make sure they're safe. This is beautiful.

These videos are so bittersweet to me. I grew up with my biological father however he's never really been present, except in trauma. He's never made an effort into being a "dad" to me or my two brothers. He's an identified narcissistic drug addict. My grandfather stepped into the place that my "dad" was not. My grandfather passed away almost 4 years ago now. I wish my mom would have left my biological dad to find someone like the men in these videos who would have wanted me as their daughter. Who would have wanted to step up in my life and help me be the best that I could be.
I'm so so happy these girls and boys have true dads that stepped up in their life when their biological "dads" wouldn't. They deserve everything and I'm gracious that they have someone like this to impact their lives ❤

A buddy of mine told me his stepdad told him his heart adopted him when he married his mama. Very cool family and his stepdad is a solid guy. Their bond is stronger than some biological families are.

I can't help it. Even though I'm now in my early-50s & I know better, I find it so fascinating to watch these fathers feeling so touched when they've been asked to become legit by the kids they've raised. Like, they truly _want_ it to happen! My dad was damn near as deadbeat as a parent can be, & my mom didn't remarry until my mid-40s. Somebody willingly taking up the torch...actually _wanting_ to be a father...seriously blows my mind! It's just wonderful!

Simply beautiful. I am a single father raising two daughters on my own. I have never received a dime of child support and we do not know where their mother is at this point. Fathers matter a great deal. Congratulations to all the families I pray that God blesses you beyond measure.

Same here. I suffer from severe Depression and Loneliness for decades, have never been hugged in my entire life like these people here.
Almost lost all of my emotions, good or bad, and all hope.
But sometimes, i go to this corner of youtube where you can be absolutely certain that your eyes gonna leak.
Just so i can feel something again. That i am still alive inside. This kind of joy others get to experience warms my heart like nothing else.

Please note, every single one of the guys in this video immediately broke down crying. There were no stone faces, no gruff dads, no surly faces. Because dudes who will cry because they earned the love of someone they love are the type who seek that love, who nurture that love, and who give it wholeheartedly back. Love your kids.

In the UK law is that you can’t adopt a child/person if they’re over 18. Under 18 you have to have the legal parents consent. This meant my step father, who has done nothing but love and care for me could never become my official father. I desperately wanted him to adopt me but my biological father wouldn’t allow it. I would have killed for something like this 💔

Anyone else notice its mostly adult children asking their step parent for adoption? I bet their deadbeat biological parents made their healthy parents life difficult and refused to allow step parent adoption just to spite the other parent. Interesting how family court allows toxic people to keep custody of their kids no matter what. My sons dad just popped back into his life after another year of absence just so my husband who has been raising our kid for years cant adopt him.
