Walks in the format of photo-comparisons are very atmospheric. Thanks for the thorough analysis.

Birmingham looked better in the 50s an 60s but i'm biased cos i'm a child of the 60s. Thanks for the great pics of the city!

She's back! Good to see this, enjoyed the footage and the historical shots of a very evocative area but one that's changing so fast. Interesting to see that more people are cycling in Birmingham these days. I like the still - then - move shots, that's a nice touch. Fazeley Street, how that brings back memories ... used to be the centre of Birmingham's Italian district years ago.
I just had to look up the story behind the severed viaduct at 10:28 - apparently it's the Duddeston Viaduct, built in 1846 but never used as it was to connect two railway lines that didn't need connecting.

Hey Chris, yes so many things to take care of. I didn’t see the time passing by. The area will be unrecognisable in 15 years that’s why I had to document it as it is now. Nice to hear from you. Take care 😉

A great video, thanks very much. Digbeth seems to be constantly changing.
My uncle's mother ran The Eagle and Tun pub in the 80s - she is in the Red, Red Wine video very briefly, shot serving someone behind the bar.

Hello Identity Withheld, thank you for watching the video. Yes, it’s great that many are still standing and have been reconverted.

It's very sad. I looked everywhere to find at least 1 photo of the school. Nothing. The only thing I know is that it was surrounded with back-to-backs.

What's with all the cheap clubs that are popping up all around there with that terrible graffiti art all over the walls, it looks so cheap?
