Many moons ago used to bus it to work and Digbeth was so vibrant. Seems everything has gone now. The Brum I knew has gone, only St Martins to give you a clue where you are 😊 Last in town few years ago. Once I had finally navigated my way out of New street station found it all a bit of a nightmare. Will only ever go again if I have too. Born in Moseley and my Grandparents actually were born in houses in the city centre. A brummie by heart but couldn't live there again. Sad.
Nice vid guys. I havent visited Birmingham since the 80's, i used to love going to the markets. Im not that far away being in derbyshire so im well overdue a visit. Look forward to your next videos 😊
I haven’t been there since 77 , I remember the silver blades, walked those streets looking for scrap to sell for a few Bob, rough area. You could get robbed of your scrap before you got it to the merchant near saltley gas works. Made a life elsewhere but forever a blue nose from small Heath
I loved where you made your Birmingham burger the other day, McDonald’s at war stock, my mother lived off school Rd . We used to live in Addison Rd K H Small world, we’re enjoying your vlogs XX❤
How things change not been to Brum for years, definitely before COVID. We went to the Christmas Market. I used to work in offices on High Street, back in the early 90s. I used to have meetings in the Custard Factory and they had these really scary suspended walkways. That would have been in the late 2000s. My first skating experience was at Silver Blades when I was 10. That was in the 80s. Thanks for taking me around. Take care Gill
this brings back so much to me , i am from bham now liviving in south ireland co kerry , but i skated in silver blades and worked on the markets when at school., then used to drink in the dubliner

Everyone harps on about Digbeth, but it's still a rough hovel thats overpriced and overhyped. A few people i know own a few spots down there and it all seems done on the cheap tbh. Town is mostly the same bar a few parts that have come good. The market is a joke and the high streets are finished.

Yes
Eventually the internet will shut down all of the high streets

@@brummiesontheroad it's over the road from the station Burlington arcade it's a great place but gets busy on match days with villa or blues fans
Oh ok, have to give it a try next time 👍🏻 tbf there was a villa match on Saturday so probably would have been rammed 👍🏻
My god I don’t recognise Digbeth anymore, what are they doing, apart from digging up the road xx
