You know, I hope you get into the stories of Punishing: Gray Raven or Arknights(especially the latter). Seriously, the story and lore of Arknights is some of the best I've read in a long, long time.
The ending where Iori dies is a good way to do an evil route ending due to how it's built up right from the start with Musashi hinting how Iori is born in the wrong era and lots of other characters also dropping hints like Chiemon and Yoshinaka. Heck, the story has a clever theme with day and night representing peace and bloodshed that Iori finds himself between, something is hinted at by the lyrics of the opening and shown throughout the story. Iori either manages to accept that the age of violent conflict is over and moves away from the night or cannot escape it, thus being reduced to a corpse before morning when his sister finds him. Yui also comments during Saber and Iori's duel about how the light she saw in him turned out to be moonlight. Love how they used night and day within the story to reflect it with the HGW starting at night when Iori encounters Rider and ends with the break of dawn with him either walking away or dead long before it. Nothing mind-blowing but a cool attention to detail. Also, Yoshinaka lives up to his title of Asash Shogun or Shogun of the Morning Sun since he wanted a peaceful time like Iori's era to be with Tomoe and gives him some advice in his farewell letter about how evil comes from evil intentions that is in both oni and human. Such a good way to integrate him into the story while using the little info about him we learn from Tomoe's monologues in Shimousa.
Samurai Remnant is a game about wasted characters. There's so much focus on Iori and Takeru that the remaining cast is completely ignored. Other Master-Servant pairs have no agency and don't attempt to take each other out. Since other Servants aren't presented as actual threats, it makes Iori and Takeru weaker than they should be. The only 2 tense moments where Iori is even remotely in danger are when Saber gets affected by Tsuchimikado's spell and when Saber's affected by Caster's conceptual (not really) attack and even then Saber snaps out of it almost instantly. It makes the Caster team look like the biggest idiots since Tsuchimikado's spell only worked on Archer (and briefly on Saber) and 5/8 rogue Servants (everyone else resisted it) and he decided to send them 1 by 1 instead of keeping them a united front to attack Saber or defend his base. Rogue Servants are completely wasted as well, only Gil, Samson and Yoshinaka have any real roles, you could replace or remove others without affecting anything in the story.
A slight correction here, Miyamoto Musashi is NOT the swordsman that killed the gang. He was adopted by Musashi some time after that night and he wish to surpass the sword skill he saw that night, which he still strive for after beating female Musashi.

Dorotheas and Chengs discussion at the end was really nice. But the third ending was really said. But we all know, what the best ending was. The Babilonya ending is clearly the best of all. 😂😂
I somehow placed an assumption in my head that Takeru's genderless state was a provoked curse placed by some of the gods he slayed. The many ways Nasu manages to bend the rules of his own lore must be studied, its hard to rant Plot Device against him (*cough* except for Seig probably).
I really enjoyed not only the video, but also how expressive Dai's avatar has become. Having this pretty much full body model really makes all the gesticulation come through very well using parts of body language like shifting body weight and feet (there is a reason why the Roman grand master of rhetoric, Hortensius Hortalus, was also nicknamed "the dancing master").
I haven’t gotten my own copy of the game yet, due to managing finances, but this makes up for it! This makes me want the game more, so, I know what I’m getting next! Nice work, Dai.
the evil route ending due with Takeru was a shockingly impactful experience from beginning or the end. Esp throughout the game it is obvious that Iori have it in him to be f up just so he can stay in a world where he can swing his sword to the max forever. But with taht being said, I hope only the Ray of Light ending is cannon, because Dorothea is waifu loll

4:28 - Isn't Strange Fake a sequel to Stay Night? Rin is there & Gilgamesh mentions not being able to remember his time, due to grail mud.
I interpret that as a separate timeline that has the same history as Zero.
@@otakudaikun fair enough.
The best fate game I’ve ever played
How does the mud exist if Angra hasn't corrupted the Grail?
@@9Godslayer That's a wonderful question. The sludge we see in game is mostly a result of Chiemon's wish for destruction. That said, the waxing moon is an unstable imitation of the grail, so breaking it can cause undesired effects, at least according to the crimson codex.
Kinda wish samson had the temple of dagon anti-reality marble
Samson vs Heracles body builder contest, who'd win?
I'm inclined to say Heracles but it's just a hunch.
Wowowowowowo, so quick! OMG, Dai you are an incredible voice actor! So much energy in your streams and videos, this channel is a sight for sore eyes. Thank you!
Unlike the MCU the Nasuverse knows how to use multiverse. The mcu just use the Multiverse as a cheap gimmick to tell cheap stories because all their writers have no Talent
Slight correction thr ending where saber kills lori is not the true ending
I was only mentioning that some people claim it as such, but I don't.
I bought the game a few months ago but haven’t made time to play it lol I think I’m a just watch the spoilers at this point.
34:08 This is literally Broly
to mess with my friends, i will call saber both a guy and a girl if i ever explain who they are, so they will wonder if its a guy or girl not knowing that it does not mater hehe
Saber is Agender period, don't you dare to bring Woke culture LMAO, how dare you guess saber's personality 😂
The kisritsigu pun was inececery 😢
Hey, can you talk about maui, the demi god he would be a interesting servant or a grand servant
Medea should have been in this game
Mechanics video?
Shit, it's so annoying in EVERY Fate story they never let anyone win the grail. What's even the point :/
Well there was one story that let someone win the Grail and it was before the events of FGO. Marisbury and his Caster Servant Solomon won the Grail and they both wish for wealth to build Chaldeas Organization and reincarnate as Dr Romani in Grand Order. Not much was shown in that time other than Flashbacks and Solomon revealing his wish to Ritsuka
@@brendan1470 Exactly, there are instances of people winning the grail, but we have yet to see any kind of Fate piece of media that actually writes said story? It just feels like Nasu doesn't know how to write a story like that, and most he will do with his partners is write bits and pieces about it. It's frustrating.
@@SilverYPheonix It's almost like getting to the Root actually ISN'T as easy as killing 6 mages. Whoda thunk it?
so finaly finished SR yesterday later i will start watching your video
first playthrew true ending
There isn't really a true ending. The one some people call a true ending can only be accessed in a second playthrough.
i heared that that is the bad ending@@otakudaikun
@@margock3213 It's a bad ending
my friends told me i can get the good and the true ending in the first playthrew
and the bad ending just in the 2nd playthrew and that i got the true ending in the first playthrew (did fight hide no abe and zheng zhengong as boss final boss )@@otakudaikun
WHY WE HAVE NO IEYASU SERVANT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
12:40 Eren lol
How can i change the costume? And what does the seasonpass do?
You can change costumes in your workshop from the same place where you rewatch cutscenes. The season pass is for DLC that hasn't been revealed yet so I don't know what will be in it.
So Takeru’s like Chevalier, officially non-gender-specific because literally nobody knew one way or the other and Takeru kinda doesn’t give a shit. Might also be affected by their legend, causing them to be straight-up bigender…?
Fairly certain Takeru's biologically one way or the other and just doesn't care. Chevalier was thought to have been a hermaphrodite. But yeah they both go in the androgyny club.
@@otakudaikun Hermaphrodite’s more fun, though… 😏 Also interesting that this Jeanne Alter is literally Jeanne herself corrupted by Chiemon’s hate. If Jeannie ever catches wind of this, she will mock her big sis *for-ever.* 🤣
The scarf is nice. IMO the chin was the least appealing part of the 3d model and the scarf hides it.
What's wrong with muh chin?
male? female? *I DONT CARE* looks female enough
after playing it myself..... i don't really like it.
game play wise is fun
decent story... but none of the ending give me a satisfied conclusion.
abruptly, unsatisfying...
Yeah, that's the point. We know for a fact that this timeline is doomed to be forcefully ended by the universe.
