Hats off to Nasu with Aurora, she went from seeming like the most kind of the fairies to reveal herself as probably the most disgusting of the bunch, and that's saying something. Please, tell me i'm not the only one that grinned like an idiot when Melusine stabbed her
I did at first, but then it faded because she barely suffered. She even mentally screwed up Melusine's mind one more time before big dwagon time, all while grinning.
This was a Lostbelt where Nasu wanted to teach you how to hate fairies. When all the good characters were gone, you had nothing to care about and wanted them gone.
Agreed, I've seen many hated characters in games over the years, but the fairies in LB6 were one of the rare occasions I've seen an entire community come together with a collective F*** you towards them
After five Lostbelts where I felt like a monster for smiting an entire world, population included, Lostbelt 6 made me feel like a true hero again… because I hate everyone and everything that lives in the Lostbelt, with only a few exceptions that I could count with my fingers, and they all got killed before the Lostbelt got corrected!
Im convinced that Nasu has an extreme hatred for fairies and just wanted to justify it and by dear god it worked. Its truly amazing how quickly everything went to shit after Morgan died and the monsters that the fae were.
They can die if they reincarnate too many times (Muryan tries to kill a bunch of Fang Clan members by killing them so many times they can no longer reincarnate, and Baobhan Sith is in her final reincarnation during the time of 2.6) or forget/lose their purpose.
55:00 that was our Merlin? I read it as the voice being Oberon and since he knew nothing about magecraft that's why he always needed a few days to figure out how to teach Castoria a new spell
Yeah, that seems to be implied, although weakly. It is also implied when Castoria meets Merlin and is surprised. Now we can dismiss this simply as her being surprised by his appearance, since she's never seen him till then, but it could have been surprise as he didn't sound the same either. Add to this how Oberon seemed to know a lot about Castoria and his interactions with her were reminiscent of her interactions with the voice of Merlin, it does seem pretty plausible that It was in fact Oberon talking to her. I think in the end though this is just a theory. We don't know for sure. It was never explicitly stated in the story. Now, maybe there is an interview or something out there were it was confirmed one way or the other though?
Fae Britain is such a hell hole and such a beautifull land at the same time... I think its one of the best fictional worlds i have ever seen being written, an anime out of this character would compete even with the award winners
It’s one of the most fundamentally screwed up worlds I’ve seen in a while. It’s basically Hell for faeries. I think that’s the tragedy of it. No matter how many nice people lived there, no matter any of Morgan’s countermeasures, no matter anyone’s good intentions, no one could change the fact the British Lostbelt is fundamentally a place for sinners to await judgment.
I hope I'm not the only one who saw through Aurora's kindly mannerisms the moment her sprite showed up. There was really something that was 'too kind' about her design, her music, and everything else. So when it turns out she was nothing but gaslighting scum, it was all the more vindicating
45:21 technically the Japanese sailor who eventually would assume the name Spriggan was not named Capless originally. I ti implied that this is the name he assumed when he stated disguising himself as Fae. The time frame and comments also pretty clearly indicate that he was part of the First Japanese Embassy to Europe (in 1862) under Shibata Takenaka as a sailor.
Is nice to see Mash Kyrielight got back her Galahad Form, I'm really Satisfied Fujimaru Ritsuka kill Beryl Gut, Fujimaru Ritsuka has finally Avenge Kadoc Zemlupus, Kirschtaria Wodime and Scandinavia Peperoncino.
I really wasn't a fan of Morgan's character design since she just looked like another saberface, but after the reveal of Aesc being Morgan from the past and her sharing the same model of fairy with Castoria, I have to admit I do like the in-story reason for her design. Also, damn the fairies suck so much ass. It's no wonder Morgan has no qualms about leaving them to die. You'd think she'd be an Avenger with her forsaking the fairies out of revenge for their betrayal and treating her like a pariah.
1:03:41 Personal headcanon: I like to think that Hope may have been making facade, either because of her transformation or just to keep an appearance as a fae, but personally, and maybe I’m being a bit of an optimist here, I also think she truly meant to help out. She had no other reason to help given her state and what would be the point of rescuing the group if she was doomed to become a Mors at this point? The name kind of says it all, especially for Artoria, and I like to think she was a rare fae that wasn’t a jerk or greedy like most of the rest in this Lostworld.
She did actually help out, Artoria gave her the name Artoria Caster in the nameless forest and hope cherished that. This is revealed after Artoria attacks cernunnous in the throne room and disappears and is back inside the storm of malice she always sees, and hope shows up to protect Artoria and is a main reason Artoria is able to come back in the fight against oberon
As far as Crypters go, it's a shame Baobahn ended up hanging out with Beryl instead of Pepe. As with Beryl I could see her and Pepe connecting over being ruthless killers at heart, but instead of murder their shared passion would be fashion (his clothing line, her interest in luxury footwear). Could have moved her life in a more positive direction. Though I guess between his alliance with Chaldea/Castoria and her loyalty to Morgan, their paths crossing in such a way would probably still not end well for her.
I like how Oberon Vortigern can be considered as a Grand servant since he was summoned by the counterforce to be the lostbelt's euthanasia he has the capabilities to end the lostbelt but was outmatched by Morgan he outplayed us all in the end the dipsh*t mothman really pulled the strings
I mean the Counterforce summoning servants to perform large scale destruction isn't anything to do with the Grand summoning system. We've know it summons counter guardians to perform acts of mass destruction since the original F/SN. Grands are specifically summoned to fight Beasts and that's it. Also I don't believe Extra classes can become Grand servants... Except for one absurdly niche situation.
I did not expect the fairy Hope to be a chekhov's gun of sorts from how little time we spent with her than bam! It turns out she was the physical embodiment of hope and was the star that Castoria always caught a glimpse of in the storm we see multiple times in the storie to keep her moving and is the reason she came back as Artoria Avalon. I also think it's meant to be implied that by giving her name to hope artoria and her fused together into artoria avalon or she's at least a part of her (that's my impression at least) it turned out hope was best girl all along
That was extremely well done lore vid for it's length. It was almost like going through the lostbelt all over again. I think I speak for most of you subs when I say we really appreciate all the hard work you put in to these lore vids. Keep up the awesome work
Despite some accuracies like Aesic death in first lostbelt timeline and, as you mentioned in pinned comment, Merlin possing Artoria's staff, this video is phenomenal work of art. Man, i cant even imagine how much you had to put in this video.
This lostbelt hit me hard emotionally, I felt so many emotions reading this and I'm glad to have read it from start to finish. I don't know if anyone has recommended it yet but if you haven't checked out the Fate/Grand Order manga "From Lostbelt" I do highly suggest you do. It provides some extra background and lore on the Major characters in each Lostbelt. From the Crypters to the Kings and even a few of the NPC's Chaldea meets.
I wanted to finish LB6 before watching this vid, and lemme just say WOW!!! IRL stuff really slowed me down, but this has gotta be the longest chapter in FGO history. Really appreciate you explaining the parts that went over my head during my first playthrough :)
Thanks for the awesome content! Just wanted to correct 3 details: - The one that has taught Castoria magecraft was Oberon, because she confuses him with Merlin when she meets him on the Nameless Forest. Also, in the dramalogue, Oberon's VA is the one that talks in Merlin's place in that part of the story. - The one to send Koyanskaya to defeat Morgan's army in the fight in Londinium is Oberon too. He asks her to do this in exchange to the information of the location of Albion's body. Ritsuka ends up suspecting that something is up with Oberon after noticing his timely disappearance in the day of the battle. - And when the debris felled on Gareth, it was Melusine that came to Londinium and attacked her after seeing the resistance she was posing. Gareth didn't died after the hit, but she was gravely injured and passed out for enough time to the city get almost entirely destroyed. This video is awesome, and thank you for the great content!
@@OtakuDaiKun Two things: Always when Melusine descends onto battle, there's a blue ray of light coming from the sky. It also appears at the moment when the debree falls onto Gareth. Perfect timing considering they released like three morgans for anny summer Lb 6 like my 4th favorite lostbelt story. 1 5 and 7 i found a lot more fun and interesting as i rank the stories on story lb king crypter and relevance to the greater story.
Finally got the time to watch and continue the journey of FGO and ohh boy, If It isn't a more complicated lostbelt/singularity, love the way you always break them down in details and do a quick reminder in the start, since I really appreciate long videos, and It shows how Nasu's creativity knows almost no limit, as in each chapter he introduces new terminologies, despite some plot holes to be expected, the execution however always fascinates me to the point I wish FGO was all animated instead of going through only the 1st, 6th and 7th singularities. Great job Dai-kun, keep up the great work !
The Totorot/Habetrot issue makes "sense" if you consider that Lostbelts and Lostworlds are really just information that happens to take the form of life. Information that is specifically predicated on some form of consciousness or awareness akin to pan-psychism. For as long as a terminal of conscious existence (aka any conscious entity) does not recognize Habetrot as Totorot, The World itself won't see Habetrot as Totorot. Or in other words, their "information" won't conflict or overwrite one another, thus they are separate entities for all intents and purposes. The moment a terminal realizes the two are the same, however, the World will *also* realize this and will correct the issue. That's why Habetrot's memory is also constantly decaying, since *she* knows she's Totorot while also identifying as Habetrot - thus one could say half of the information that composes her is being deleted at all times. Now, as to whether life and reality is actually pan-psychic or information based..... that remains to be seen. But within the wild logic they've set up, with Fantasy Trees being juiced up quantum computers, it's... tolerable.
Not gonna lie. I am not a strong reader. So when the cutscenes of this lostbelt dragged on for over ten minutes(or more) at a time. My eyes would tend to glaze over. So when I found your streams, I would tune into as many as I could. So I could read along. Now that you posted the full summary video. I love reviewing this Lostbelt, turned singularity, once again. There really are some fantastic characters and facinating plot.
Hi Otaku Dai, I wanted to thank you for your lore videos. I'm fond of Fate Universe but I clearly didn't wanted to play Grand Order as I hate this kind of games. I didn't watch your videos for now, but seeing that there is a serie of more than 20 videos about FTO's lore shows how much efforts and dedication you put into it. Thanks a lot for that
This video is really explaining a lot of parts of LB 6. I'm really surprised as it leaves me speechless because most of the questions are answered. It is a really good video and I enjoyed watching it
1:38:05 Koyanskaya is not having nine tails and trainings them, she is gathering beings worthy to be the foundation of tails and her goal is to collect 9 beings for the 9 tails (one from each Lostbelt, the Alien God, and the Last Master of Humanity [us]) she was interested in somehow making one from LB6'S Albion, but we prevented that. There is a reason we see 5 "tails with eyes" glowing up around her larval Beast form when we fight er in Atlantis; by that point she had gathered 5 tails.
1:28:44 What I found really interesting is that Portune is member of the Mirror Clan (he also used his own clairvoyance) and that Morgan seems to treat some of her high class soldiers like LB Qin Shi Huang Di did (he had them in cryosleep pods at the site where his mausoleum, she has them "stored" as chess pieces on a board). If memory serves Portune had to get some update via Morgan's magecraft on the state of Britain after being made active.
It's nice to see Nasu put more and more ideas from Notes, like the "Six Sisters" and the A-Rays. But I'd rather see Notes itself getting more material and development than just references on Fate. :/
Amazing video! It was worth the wait! Thank you so much for the summary LB6 is by far my favorite so at the moment. It's writing and characters are just beautiful with my favorites being Morgan, Baohban Sith, Castoria, Oberon and of course Gareth
Out of all the characters in the Typemoon that are most screwed up like Shinji Matou from Stay Night and Ryunosuke from Zero, Beryl is by far the worst of all. He's like Ryunosuke, Shinji, and those Gangsters who sexually assulted Asagami Fujino from Kara No Kyoukai combined. Thank goodness A1 Studios never put Beryl and Mash's interaction in Ep 0 of Babylonia about Mash's past
I've been waiting for this!. Thank dai! Knew it was going be long. Something to listen to while I farm to get ready for the summer event. Keep up the great work
How appropriate that the same day we get this video is also the day we find out that the 8th Anniversary’s new Servant is Aesc the Savior/Morgan Lily/Swimsuit Morgan!
I haven't start watching the video but I'll give it a like already because i know it took a lot of dedication, LB6 is so big and there's so much to cover
I've always been intrigued by Oberon after completing LB6 and obtaining him, he despises Fujimaru and Ritska, the Lostbelts, and Humanity but, on the other, he still wished he had his own Titania, but at the same time he could be lying or possibly telling the truth. And to make matters more interesting (for me), he's the only servant that requires a Bond level 6 to get the full picture of who he really is. (don't spoil it for me please?) Good video
Baobhan Sith is said to be combination of a vampire and a succubus. That said, Aurora reminds me of *Kikyō Kushida* from Classroom Of The Elite. She's secretly a narcissist with low self-esteem, who dislikes everyone around her and takes her self-hatred and stress out by going to a secluded, quiet area and yells trash about those who she sees are beneath her. All the while, hiding behind a fake mask of a decent, caring and helpful girl, using it to her advantage to gain the trusts of others for the sake of gaining validation. Not only that, she even obtains the secrets of those poor innocent souls who foolishly trust her. Just like Aurora of Lostbelt 6, Clout, Praise, Recognition and Validation are Kikyō's reason for living, and she thrives in the pleasure of being number one.
Morgan/Tonelico deserved better... The entirey of the Lostbelt could easily be considered tragedy, they deserve it, though. But in a way it's also tragic. Don't worry Morgan, faes cannot hurt you anymore.
Honestly, Gareth's death was the first time I cried in over a year. It was far worse to me than any other thing that happened in FGO or my life (within that timespan)
I would say it is not like a singularity because a singularity is a point or period in time that can change the timeline going forward due to interference. The Lost World is in essence what would happen if a singularity was allowed to go forward and keep going as a new timeline.
This was a great story video you did an incredible job summarizing everything but man, I swear most of the fairies on here were complete and other scumbags or d****I can honestly see why the 2 called the fairies of paradise pretty much gave up on them Considering the treatment they have from them. I don't really blame them frankly it was good to see that Morgan was able to keep them in their place for so long they are way too impulsive and inmature to keep without having a leash on them the only way to really get them to behave in a sort of normal ways is subjugate them or pretty much keep them in constant line Not to mention how the ancestors of the clans killed that poor creature when he was just trying to help them after all, he was sent to kill them, but he chose not to He gave them sanctuary and out of gratitude for their circumstances they just chose to poison him and the end, the destruction should have been the end of them the only reason they lived was do the mercy of 3 I don't hate quite a few of them after all, like the tavern owner anyway, the fairies impulsive actions constantly led to their own destruction and quite frankly, they deserved it.
You know that PHH Morgan had 3 personalities, not just 2. Tragically, that one might have been her natural self and not the embodiment of Britain Morgan le Fay nor The Lady of the Lake Vivienne. My headcannon is that these two personalities eventually overpowered her original self. Hopefully, I hope she just dissipated away instead of regaining herself after it all.
still can't get over Gareth dying and turning into a bell. No wonder she's a lancer and Barghest doing her best to be good waifu. that lostbelt deserved to be demolish again and again 🥲🥲💔💔
YES! YES! YES! Been so patiently waiting for this video to come out. I love your videos there amazing and always a joy to learn more about the fate verse
Don't mind me, just came to leave my like and comment. I still hasn't haven't played the LB6 and although I'm going to eventually, I prefer to not spoil myself. See you later!
While the lore does not convey the story as well as the game as your narrative choice is chronological, Fea Britain has been FGO's best story since Babylon. In a way, almost similar. Meet a cast we become friends with. Even make friends with the enemy. the final boss being purely conceptual and therefore unbeatable by any logic and even get a tearful farewell to it. And even when we "win" the land itself (Kingdom of Uruk and Fea Britian) was destroyed by the time we leave.
Tl;dr: Every fairy is horrible (especially Aurora), Oberon is sus, Castoria and Galahad are best cinnamon buns, Beryl deserved worse, and Pepe did nothing wrong.
Thank you 😢 I can't imagine reach Avalon just yet or to be precise I can't even get pass this Greenish Mochi (LB 5.2 7-2) let alone get to Avalon. So this vid lesser my pain :)
@@Sonicbuster756 Well technically it's the same Lostbelt. There's 7 Lostbelt in total, till now (NA server) only 5 and 6 that have two chapters taken place in respective Lostbelt. this lostbelt story is very interesting, it is almost like a commentary on human society but in the forms of faeries who were actually humanit-aboo who went too far in copying everything about human from the cool stuff to the most deprave shit
This is, by far, my favorite Lostbelt. I hated the fairies, felt for Castoria and Aesc/Morgan. I so look forward to playing it again with my alt account which is currently at the end of LB3.
Uh Dai they didn’t dissect the priestess well not initially. A dissection happens post mortem after the animal or person has died. No the fairies literally vivisected her which is conducted when a person is well and truly alive and in this case aware of the process. Yeah, as if we needed anymore reasons as to why we had to burn this lostbelt to the ground.
@@OtakuDaiKun Yes, but it’s more because dissection is a term reserved for things that are dead while vivisection is a term reserved for things that are alive. It’s just a minor difference though, so don’t worry about it.
The story is so good, but I can't lose the sense of frustration and hatred for the fairies. Honestly Aurora deserved to suffer so much more than what she got. Considering the justice we got with what happened to Beryl it feels criminal that we didn't get similar punishment for Aurora who was imo worse.

It's Oberon
It's confirmed in the lb6 dramalogue, where it's Oberon's VA who voices the staff

Fae Britain is such a hell hole and such a beautifull land at the same time... I think its one of the best fictional worlds i have ever seen being written, an anime out of this character would compete even with the award winners
It's just like the wilderness. Quite beautiful, but also deadly and unforgiving.
I couldn't care less. It was on sight from section 1
Agreed! No one has that much Glinda energy without hiding something. I was not buying it for sure!
This was the best written story that not only touched you emotionally; but taught you that you really shouldn’t tell a book by its cover.
Such a weird plot point, guessing its a side effect of morgan’s actions which made the lostbelt into a lostworld
Yeah, but they didn't give us his original name.

Give it time.
Oh, don't worry.
I’m miffed we didn’t get anything resembling her original appearance in the Fate series.
Grand Pretender when
I mean the Counterforce summoning servants to perform large scale destruction isn't anything to do with the Grand summoning system. We've know it summons counter guardians to perform acts of mass destruction since the original F/SN. Grands are specifically summoned to fight Beasts and that's it. Also I don't believe Extra classes can become Grand servants... Except for one absurdly niche situation.

great vid btw!
Keep up the awesome work
Thank you so much!
Despite some accuracies like Aesic death in first lostbelt timeline and, as you mentioned in pinned comment, Merlin possing Artoria's staff, this video is phenomenal work of art. Man, i cant even imagine how much you had to put in this video.
What do you mean about that first timeline?
Either you hate the story, or love the story, we can all agree that this chapter is freaking amazing.
Wow great video, must be one hell of a problem to be able summarize the entire lostbelt. One of the best story so far, keep up the good work!
Just wanted to correct 3 details:
- The one that has taught Castoria magecraft was Oberon, because she confuses him with Merlin when she meets him on the Nameless Forest.
She still had to die to become a bell tho.
@@OtakuDaiKun Yeah. I was specifying what happened before she died, though. Sorry for not making that clear
@@Vithor.G16 What's your source on Melusine being at Londinium? I haven't been able to see it in the game itself.

I always enjoy Nasu's story telling. Now Shirou is the servant and Altria is the master
Perfect timing considering they released like three morgans for anny summer
Lb 6 like my 4th favorite lostbelt story. 1 5 and 7 i found a lot more fun and interesting as i rank the stories on story lb king crypter and relevance to the greater story.
This is the only lostbelt in which I didn't feel bad that all the inhabitants died the fairies were cruel beings
Not only that they are cruel, they don't know they are cruel. That is why there is a saying "Fairies are as innocent as they are cruel".
@bluecat6902 Children in a nutshell. That doesn't justify hating them. Rather it's tragic that that's just part for the course in this LB
But within the wild logic they've set up, with Fantasy Trees being juiced up quantum computers, it's... tolerable.
Probably why she's always writing in her diary, to supplement her loss of memories.
Thank you very much. Story is very convoluted but you made it clear and understandable. There was also lots of plot twists.
That LB6 OST is nostalgic already. Great recap Dai!
Hi Otaku Dai,
I wanted to thank you for your lore videos.
She says directly that she does tho...
@@OtakuDaiKun true, time stamp at around 1:38:00 onward
1:28:44 What I found really interesting is that Portune is member of the Mirror Clan (he also used his own clairvoyance) and that Morgan seems to treat some of her high class soldiers like LB Qin Shi Huang Di did (he had them in cryosleep pods at the site where his mausoleum, she has them "stored" as chess pieces on a board). If memory serves Portune had to get some update via Morgan's magecraft on the state of Britain after being made active.
Indeed.
Odin is such a dude to humanity man. I need an Odin in my life.
It's nice to see Nasu put more and more ideas from Notes, like the "Six Sisters" and the A-Rays. But I'd rather see Notes itself getting more material and development than just references on Fate. :/
Damn this Lostbelt lore is huge, it'll take some time for me to proccess it all.
Amazing video! It was worth the wait! Thank you so much for the summary
LB6 is by far my favorite so at the moment.
Beautifully done. Thank you for all your hard work.
Hopefully having the timeline readily available to check made things at least a little easier 😂
Now that I'm FINALLY almost done with this thing(?), i think it's time to listen.
I haven't start watching the video but I'll give it a like already because i know it took a lot of dedication, LB6 is so big and there's so much to cover
Man do I like listening to your lore videos good thing to listen to when trying to sleep
(don't spoil it for me please?)
Good video
Thank you once again for these. I love FGO, but I simply don’t have time to read it all. With these videos I got a “podcast” of some kind. 😁
It says a lot (in a good way) that in a 2 hour long summary you only get to the beginning of the story an hour into it
That was 1 hell of a video. Good job man
This was a great story video you did an incredible job summarizing everything but man, I swear most of the fairies on here were complete and other scumbags or d****I can honestly see why the 2 called the fairies of paradise pretty much gave up on them Considering the treatment they have from them.
Dai, You are madlad to pull that off. My god what a lore dump. But so exciting. Thank you for the efforts to make this video.

Hmm... So dissections can't be done on living people huh? I should've just said they diced her up.

The story is so good, but I can't lose the sense of frustration and hatred for the fairies. Honestly Aurora deserved to suffer so much more than what she got. Considering the justice we got with what happened to Beryl it feels criminal that we didn't get similar punishment for Aurora who was imo worse.
