Thanks for the look at Beaver Creek! Any chance of a Keystone Night Skiing video?

Loving seeing more resorts open - spreads out the crowds. Keystone was crowded but not too bad yesterday, although Schoolmarm was a bit icy at times. Spring Dipper is open now - which takes a lot of advanced people off Schoolmarm.

I was there yesterday in the morning too. Crowds are much better now, but they desperately need more snow.

@@angelinaoutside I’m still very much a beginner, just now getting into parallel turns but still cautious with speed - so Schoolmarm is still a challenge, especially with a lot of traffic. I took it down to the Montezuma lift. Took me about 45 minutes. I lapped Endeavor and Scout several times before going. Still lots of different kinds of skiers on the trail from people straight-lining and doing jumps off side hits to the occasional yard sale. I even saw a few folks just laying down in the middle of the trail and of course at least 2 rescues. We got some snow, but there were still a few icy spots but overall much better.

2000 ft vertical drop is beginner out in colorado. Cries in midwest.

It's rough for beginners, but yeah 2000+ft green runs do exist here!

I've noticed that your skis cross over everytime you fall. Wonder whats making them cross like that.

It's because usually when I fall, one ski did not turn the way I expect to. For example, I could be too much in the back seat and the tail of the inside ski catches and doesn't turn around like the outside ski does. Here, I fell because I launched over a bump I didn't see, so I didn't adjust my balance accordingly. I was going faster than I would have if I was on an actual bump run.

Boots should not punch in and hurt you like that. A lot of us are going a little less with all the cranking. Your inside edge is not where it needs to be; but, you look good otherwise. Even it up.
