First of all..bucket throw...perfection!! I love how gentle you were with the rug. Once you pinned it up, I could see how easily it could have been for it to come completely undone. At first I was thinking to donate it to my local library, but looking at it while you were cleaning, I think a nook in a toddler classroom would be better. If they have a Math nook, maybe there. If not, then possibly the place they hold their daily circle time. Obviously, up to the teacher in the room, but as a previous pre-school teacher, that's where I pictured this rug. As a preschool teacher, 100% this needs to go to a school or library. They don't make fun, educational rugs like this anymore, and I know any preschool would adore having this for their math/numeracy centre!

I love this having the back remove really helps understand the whole rug clean processes, like dirt gets trapped between the top and bottom of the rug, and then on top of it(heh), the top and bottom are dirty themselves. I'm just happy you were able to repair it. I'd like to win, long time suber but I do love all the videos, timelapse and long form.

This is an amazing rug! I grew up on Winnie the Pooh and it touches my heart. I loved Pooh, but Eeyore was my favorite as I got older. His struggle with "depression" and the support from his friends was beautiful. I'd love to win this for my nephews. They are young but I can already see them struggling as well. ❤

Excellent and complete job! I grew up in Winnie the Poo and there were so many life lessons I learnt as a child. With the way so many violent children's shows are on air now, it is fitting to want to give the tone generation a chance to get to know our past favourites. I would love to gift this to my godson and introduce him to a part of my past.

Poor Winnie, being so dirty it's like being stuck in the honey tree again. My 3 year old granddaughter would love this. She was born hearing impaired, so bright colors and toys with movement is her world. She is going to a school for the deaf and blind and is learning ASL, that makes me a 70 year old grandma trying to learn a new language. This rug would help with her learning colors and numbers, And her favorite color is yellow. Yes Winnie is not exactly yellow but to her it is. So glad you could repair it, looks great.

WOW!!! I have loved Winnie the Pooh for as long as I can remember. My oldest stuffed animal is a Pooh that's been loved for 53 years…. The rug looks much better than he does lol. I remember having a computer game that was creating greeting cards and posters with Pooh and his friends. I was so sad when our computer had to be hard reset, because we had lost the disk for it years before. There is something so special about these characters that has ne'er been matched since.

I had a very similar rug when I was a young child, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. The backing separated from it too. My brothers finished trashing it for me though so there's no recovering that one.

Interesting! The technique you're using to stretch out the rug is called blocking, btw, it's also a way to finish needlework instead of ironing!
