The Swagger Pro adds a lithium battery that increases both range and top speed. There's also front-wheel suspension. It's great if your town is paved in concrete and asphalt, but is too rough for cobblestone. Still just 7.3 kg (16 lb)

excellent vid....thanks.....now march 2018 and new cycleboard models will be available, soon....when i wanted to order the original model awhile back--"out of stock, new ones on the way"....almost endless choices for electric scooters on the market today that work for just about everybody's needs/wants & wallet....just saw the cycleboard 'rover' video....... soooo that's definitely my first choice....pre-ordering one thru ESS, since i live in florida.....bought my folding 'voltbike' thru them 10 months ago--LUV IT!....gotta have an electric scooter to "all terrain surf".... ;o) UPDATE 4-24-18: pre-ordered cycleboard 'rover' a couple weeks ago thru ESS....pre-order discount of $300!!....that puppy should arrive on my doorstep sometime in june....

@@MustSeeTech I haven't ridden it much yet. In fact, only 2 miles at this point. First impressions is that it's a solid, quality build. It feels very sturdy and safe. It is however large and heavy. Then too, I am short so that may be a non-issue for others. Turning is something I look forward to practicing more on it. For now, it seems I will need a lot of space to make wide turns. Another person with one also in NYC says that making tight turns comes with practice, mainly by slowing down.
The get up and go is swift and the brake is immediate in a positive way. It's reliable.
My model (Elite v2) is a bare bones scooter, so the buyer needs their own fenders, lights, horn and lock. My Immotor Go came with all of that at the same price. However, the CycleBoard makes the Immotor Go seem like a toy quality-wise. Customer service is spectacular as well.

Thanks for your comment. I wouldnt know any other places than Amazon and Ebay. You can start from there and expand the search on the web, maybe there are companies that sell kits for DYI enthusiasts.

Must See Tech I have decided to make the thumnail pic but for local short distances of 5-15 know only. The footboard can be made but where do I find proper instructions as I need a stronger base and durability. Any instructions site you can advise ? Or else I would have to wait and buy a second hand van
Woww, so cool! How often do you charge it? Alllu VehiGo E-scooter just requires 15 mins quick charging time, and then I can fully charge my E-scooter while getting up and prepare myself for an awesome day.

You're not asking me but...I like the Cycleboard but in a Transboard design. I have the Immotor Go now, but they went out of business weeks after I bought it. Now I am hesitant to spend so much on another unproven scooter. I had the Segway i2, and honestly, nothing beats it in ride quality.

The Mercane DOES NOT weigh 220 lbs as the video states. It is 21.5kg=47.39lbs

I believe it is possible to check them in. After all they are using the same technology as laptops and other devices.but since the weight of these is rather high so transportation would be too, maybe more convenient would be to rent on the spot?

I've owned and tested various scooters including some shown here and can vouch for the CycleBoard being by far the best ride and ownership of all. Even the person that posted this used a CycleBoard as a thumbnail picture to invite clicks.
