Architectural Hand-Drafting Timelapse (Part Three)
As a graduate student studying classical architecture trained in the Beaux-Arts tradition, lots of people have seen the finished product of my countless hours of hard work. However, only a few have seen the process of hand-drafting and watercolor/ink rendering. In this video, I captured the hand-drafting process of the final of the three elevations for my most recent project, a bridge in Pisa, Italy. The finished product was executed at a scale of 1/8”=1’, drafted in 4H graphite and rendered in watercolor and India/sepia ink wash. This project is an original design by myself and was a joy to work on, and I hope it is a joy to watch as well.
