I recently picked up the "Trine Collection" as well and was pleasantly surprised at just how GOOD it is, due to its really low price. Some others that I picked up cheap for Xbox One were Just Cause 3 & 4, Shenmue I & II, and Forza Horizon 4 (just to have a physical copy). Also picked up Sine Mora EX, based on one of your earlier recommendations and couldn't put it down. Awesome game. Thanks for the video!
I am so surprised Titanfall 2 regularly seems to get relegated to the bargain bin treatment. that game is one of the most awesome games i played last generation.
It is, it's considered by many to have the best Single Player Campaign for a game of that type and I played it through PS Plus when it available on the monthly games and I can say it's as great as everyone says it is, the series does live on through Apex Legends for better or for worse and off and on over the years Titanfall 3 has been discussed and could happen at some point, especially if EA wants to make some bank and seriously with all the praise that Titanfall 2 got EA making a follow up would sell well, just have to make sure to not have some big competition to deal with and Money.
Market value and quality are seldom related. Bioshock Infinite went to the bargain bin several months after launch despite the fact that it's excellent. Meanwhile CoD games hold substantial value for several years. It's more about demand vs. supply than quality.
Everyone except Colin Moriarty from IGN who purposely played it instead of MGS and made a huge deal about it acting like he was having way more fun than everyone playing MGS5. I love Colin but sometimes he's silly af
Mad Max was actually my game of the year when it came out. There were games with much higher reviews from critics but nothing gave me more pleasure than that game. Goes to show you that reviews aren’t everything. It has its flaws but it’s just kinda awesome.
Its a decent game and this isn't a knock but that Mad Max game is one of the few games I have ever played that literally put me to sleep. Driving around the wasteland specifically is what did it.
@@mayorofbagtown9097 No doubt the game has it’s flaws. That wasteland dead time was one of the bigger ones… but it also got a slight pass because, well, it IS a wasteland. Doesn’t make it less boring but somehow I didn’t mind as much because it fit into the theme. And for me, I was kinda relieved that it was packed with objectives like so many open world games these days.

Playing the Trine games couch co-op with 3 people is such a blast. They’re fun to play solo, but co-op live with crosstalk and brainstorming is an absolute blast.
Cannot say enough about Mad Max. I’m biased to open-world games, sure, but it was an enjoyable romp especially once you get past a somewhat slow beginning. If you’re a trophy hunter/completionist, make sure you check a guide for taking out all outposts as one has missable content that’s hard to destroy later when you can’t return inside said outpost.
Agreed. Mad Max is what I consider one of the most underrated games of the past generation. I finished it for the first time on the PC but am going through it again on Xbox, especially it ended up getting a 60fps boost on the Series X.
Mad Max is one of those games that shouldn't be as fun and well made as it is. I've played through it twice and look forward to playing it a third time.
Never been huge into Assassin’s Creed but I will always give Origins HUGE props for adding in an educational mode, where it gets rid of the combat and quests and you just get to explore the different parts of Egypt with audio commentary explaining the real world history and the things surrounding you in game. Something literally no one was asking for but goodness do I think it’s one of the coolest things you can randomly add to a game like Assassin’s Creed. Highly recommend if you want a casual break from assassinating people (in game)!
I loved mad max.. Really wished it would've gotten a sequel.. I got to a point in the game where I thought it was gonna open up and have a whole new area to explore but it just ended.. Great game nonetheless

Honestly it is strange but I've seen the prices of some games over here in germany only increase of like 5€ per game (not every game but a few) while a lot of game prices has fallen. Not just like TOY STORY 2 which at one point costed 40-55€ and cost like 15-20€ (obviously due to the new PsPlus) but also games that are NOT part of PsPlus like LEGACY OF KAIN SOUL REAVER which has dropped like 20€ in price (I saw it goin from 30€ down to 10€). Always depends on where you're buying the games, if you're buying them from a store or if you're buying them online, but I have recently bought sooo many games for cheap that were absolutely over-priced almost. Brilliant video MJR. There are some sweet games I have totally blanked for years. And I think for a lot of us, the PS4 and XboxOne is going to be a current gen console for a while…🤣
Mad Max definitely went under the radar for me, going to add that to my list of games to play this year, along with Trine Ultimate Collection and Hardline. Thanks @MetalJesusRocks
I love Battlefield Hardline; It is so different and unique compared to other Battlefield titles. I’ve always heard from other games that Mad Max is a super fun game, and from your footage, it looks awesome! I will be definitely picking that game up. Great video MJR! 😎🎮🤟🏻
Thanx 4 the recommendation I think I'll grab Battlefield 2day as it looks better than the other war like Games which I'm not really a huge fan of & yea buddy u won't regret Mad max I just got it this year & still haven't beaten it cause I serial game hop.
I actually played and finished Mad Max earlier this year it's such a fun game the customization and car combat feels so smooth there are some repetitive areas like enemy bases but that certainly dosen't diminish how great the game is and if you're a fan of the Mad Max world there is so much to explore. Love the work Avalanche did with this game. I also need to check out titan fall 2 but the only thing that really stopped me giving it a try is I heard that the campaign is short and I'mnot really into multiplayer, but now I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
first time seeing a big youtuber mentioning trine.that game series is high quality with such good sound effect and music too.with many amazing puzzles. i dont watch that many youtubers to begin with but i see the thumbnails and title they have.the trine series is what i would say a hidden gem for most.def try 4 and 2.part 1 has bad respawn point apart from that its good.3 is also good in my apinion.
I love how natural it is to aim your crosshair on the ground. Ever since seannaners pointed it out, I always have my crosshair pointed upward and more in front of me haha
@@MetalJesusRocks Yeah, I actually tried it after watching a previous video of yours discussing it, and I agree that the controls are very satisfying. Have a wonderful weekend.
Battlefield Hardline still holds up! It's a shame how broken and lacking Battlefield 2042 is. No Campaign at all! And the game has been broken/unfinished for almost a year! Buy older Battlefield games while you can!
The last AC that I played was AC3 on X360 then during the locked down in 2020 I decided to play Origins and like what you said we needed that long break from the AC franchise to enjoy it again and I had a blast finishing Baek's journey. I also enjoyed Battlefield Hardline on my OG XB1 fun quick action shooter.
Man those prices are crazy the lowest our stores are going is 19€ and those are usually the sports games. The rest of the games are either 39€ or 59€ no matter the console or how old they are... :(
Great video! And I'll admit I liked a few of those like Titanfall 2 and Mad Max and I'm not usually a fan of those styles. Lot of fun to be had with everything on this list. And Metro Exodus is an absolute steal at that price!
I decided to check out Assassin's Creed Origins because it was added to game pass on pc and I havent played any AC games for more than a decade and what a pleasure it's been to play through the game and the 2 DLC's now. The game also looks so freaking good at native 4K with every setting cranked to the max on an LG C1 oled tv. I decided to grab Odyssey too after enjoying Origins and Odyssey is really good too, it improves on some areas but I kind of think Origins is better, mainly because I feel the story is more grounded in reality, it takes itself seriously and Bayek and Aya are more relatable characters.
I played Mad Max a couple years ago right before the servers shutdown. What a great game! I loved the driving aspect and overall gameplay. It came out the same day as MGS so it didn't get the recognition it deserved.
Man as soon as I started watching this video I hope you said about metro exodus. I got this bundled in with my Xbox one and only recently started playing it and I love it!
Great video, a lot of these I'm played around release and feel very fondly about. A budget game which I think is good and very underrated is Contra Rogue Corps. No it's not like other Contra games but it's a great twin stick shooter with great weapon variety and tight gameplay. I genuinely belief if it hadn't been called Contra it would have been viewed as a good game.
Mad max was fun. I had it for awhile before I finally played through it also. I think at first I was turned off by some of the mechanics. But once I learned them a bit more, I was pleasantly suprised by the game and happy I played it. Hardline, I enjoyed a few years back. I'm always tempted to pick it up cheap again on a newer console. I often overlook Zombieland, but twin stick shooters are fun. No rush and no need for speed, Heat that is, as I enjoy Payback and haven't finished yet. I own 2 copies of Titanfall 2. When I saw it for 3 bucks, I had to get it on the console I really wanted to play it on. Yet some reason I still haven't gotten around to playing it. Assassins Origins is one I started briefly a few years back but haven't continued yet. Glad its available when I'm ready. Exodus is likely a pick up, in time. Instead, recently I picked up the redux collection of Last Light and 2033 on sale. I love my bargain pickups. Especially when Microsoft gives you a 10 dollar credit to spend on a sale. Dying Light 1, Mafia 3 (which I just beat), and the great Split Second, were a few others I scooped up cheap. Game time! 💪👍
LOL BattleField Hardline??? LoL for real MJR?? That WAS tje wprst BattleField game for years... Until 2042 felt like taking that title recently! Hahaha that game was Garbbbb!
I don't see the purpose anymore in collecting 8-32bit stuff other than the reason of just owning the games. MISTer has just completely fulfilled that urge, with it's accuracy and excellent replication of all the old systems programmed into the FPGA. I collect for the PS2 and upwards, but it feels so good not needing to fork out $500 for a rare Megadrive game or whatever. There are so many cheap good games for the PS2, PS3 and PS4, it's more than enough to keep me busy for a very long time
I would heavily recommend the game Henchman Story ⬅️🕹️ it is this super fun comic book style visual novel 👾 with amazing voice acting and great humour and great story with tons of endings definitely one of my big time personal favourites visual novel 👾 I just can't recommend it enough!!!🌟 i'm telling you just try it you won't regret it 😁👍
I recently played battlefield hL and it was fun but 360 version. I saw a graphics comparison and wasn’t much difference between next gen and was quite cheap. Mafia 3 def edition is good price atm any thoughts on that game two minds as back log. Btw why is Godzilla on ps4 sooooo expensive in the uk it’s over £100
Just Cause 3 was under €10 and is just open world over the top stupid fun. Recommended if you just want something not so serious :-) Also Wreckfest was under €10. A modern destruction derby. If you like racing and damage opponents, this is sometimes total chaos
boy am i glad i've pretty much outgrown video games finally, lol, because my backlog was getting ridiculous and i just decided to sell all my sealed brand new games to gamestop, so someone got all my new games at gamestop's used prices! I'm down to just a few games owned now, thank god. i hated having a backlog and always thinking i would never be able to play all these games. i hate sitting on a ton of hoarded stuff at home. On that note, Rage > mad max. Heat was pretty good until I stopped caring about single player racing again, and Titanfall 2 was incredible and i paid full price on release. Origins was okay, but i stopped caring about assassin's creed after Black Flag and Unity, and Metro Exodus was awesome. AC Valhalla was pretty awesome from what I played, but I just didn't care after a while. Game was really fun though.
Interesting the XB One versions are often cheaper than the PS4 version, used for used. I'm not that familiar with the differences between the platforms, are XB One versions not as good or is the machine not as good?
Weird I literally just rebought Mad Max for $5 digitally (I bought it physical like 6 years ago n played for like 10 minutes, got in a glitch, and never played it again.) I did beat the game though this time and holy cow this game is super fun!! Excellent job to the devs of Mad Max!
What are some cheap Xbox One & PS4 games you would recommend?
The dark souls series, if you find them too hard they at least have some cool box art 👊 keep it up Metal Jesus!

Any Flatout, any Need for Speed, definitely crash drive 3 for $2 digital 💫🏆
Project CARS Game of the Year Edition is about £10 or less used and is a great racing sim with all the DLC included on the disc!
I'd spend just $5 more than your limit is and get the Yakuza Remastered Collection. 3 full games that you can pump a WHOLE lotta time into.

Collect what's cheap now, that's how to do it!
Good things come to those who wait
@@ChicagoBulls1984 You're absolutely right!
I thought every single game in this video sucked lol
Cool video talk to tech mersl Jesus rocks video games
I actually played and finished Mad Max earlier this year it's such a fun game the customization and car combat feels so smooth there are some repetitive areas like enemy bases but that certainly dosen't diminish how great the game is and if you're a fan of the Mad Max world there is so much to explore. Love the work Avalanche did with this game.
I also need to check out titan fall 2 but the only thing that really stopped me giving it a try is I heard that the campaign is short and I'mnot really into multiplayer, but now I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
Video game prices after a MJR video: 📈
first time seeing a big youtuber mentioning trine.that game series is high quality with such good sound effect and music too.with many amazing puzzles.
i dont watch that many youtubers to begin with but i see the thumbnails and title they have.the trine series is what i would say a hidden gem for most.def try 4 and 2.part 1 has bad respawn point apart from that its good.3 is also good in my apinion.
Shoutout idol from Philippines 🇵🇭
Mad Max is a great game, i hope they make Mad Max 2
I love how natural it is to aim your crosshair on the ground. Ever since seannaners pointed it out, I always have my crosshair pointed upward and more in front of me haha
This vid couldn't have come at a better time, just got handed an old xbox one not too long ago for free. Been needing some games for it.
I literally bought half of this list while watching this. Thank you to the king MetalJesus!
Rock on!
Yes! I really liked Titanfall 2. I picked it up cheap as well. A lot of fun. Great video. Thanks for posting.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@MetalJesusRocks Yeah, I actually tried it after watching a previous video of yours discussing it, and I agree that the controls are very satisfying. Have a wonderful weekend.
Ps4 The Last Guardian ...is also worth picking up..
Battlefield Hardline still holds up! It's a shame how broken and lacking Battlefield 2042 is. No Campaign at all! And the game has been broken/unfinished for almost a year! Buy older Battlefield games while you can!
If you haven't played AC1 then you really must it's my favourite one.
The 1st one? Really? I feel like the first game is pretty rough. It wasn't until the 2nd game that the series got amazing.
Definitely one of the best video formats
The last AC that I played was AC3 on X360 then during the locked down in 2020 I decided to play Origins and like what you said we needed that long break from the AC franchise to enjoy it again and I had a blast finishing Baek's journey. I also enjoyed Battlefield Hardline on my OG XB1 fun quick action shooter.
battlefield hardline super underrated
Man those prices are crazy the lowest our stores are going is 19€ and those are usually the sports games.
The rest of the games are either 39€ or 59€ no matter the console or how old they are... :(
Keep'em coming, Metal Jesus...🤘🏼💯✔️ I always wanna know what's worthwhile playing and collecting for the systems that I love...❤️👍🏼
Great video! And I'll admit I liked a few of those like Titanfall 2 and Mad Max and I'm not usually a fan of those styles. Lot of fun to be had with everything on this list. And Metro Exodus is an absolute steal at that price!
Today at the fleamarket/pawnshop of my town i got for 35$ on Xbox 1 Mafia 3 with Portal 2, Star Wars The Force Unleashed and TomRaider for the PS3!!
hey metal Jesus awesome pickups video
I decided to check out Assassin's Creed Origins because it was added to game pass on pc and I havent played any AC games for more than a decade and what a pleasure it's been to play through the game and the 2 DLC's now. The game also looks so freaking good at native 4K with every setting cranked to the max on an LG C1 oled tv. I decided to grab Odyssey too after enjoying Origins and Odyssey is really good too, it improves on some areas but I kind of think Origins is better, mainly because I feel the story is more grounded in reality, it takes itself seriously and Bayek and Aya are more relatable characters.
Hey what were the stores you visited? I’m local to Seattle as well.
I picked these up at local GameStops and Another Castle.
I played Mad Max a couple years ago right before the servers shutdown. What a great game! I loved the driving aspect and overall gameplay. It came out the same day as MGS so it didn't get the recognition it deserved.
Another Friday and another awesome video by Metal Jesus Rocks 😎
Thanks! 😍
great video jason! gave me a few games to check out. ill definitely be looking out for Mad Max, and battlefield hardline.
NFS Heat & Payback are both great NFS games
Next gen version of metro exodus is the way to go. Best console ray tracing I’ve seen and runs at 60
Years ago I saw one of your videos (Games pick up )with Reggie and you talked about NFS heat already. You showed it to us already
I can see your perspective now that I know about it. Might have to check it out
Don’t think I knew it existed until you brought it up lol
Mad Max actually had a pretty awesome cinematic story that fit in line with the world and movies!! It had a great feel
how do you keep track of what's in your collection when shopping? do you have a list on your phone?
I do. I use CLZGames app. Like it a lot.
This is a Godsend for me since I got a PS4 recently to start colecting games for. Thanks!
Titanfall is the most underrated series of all time. Insanely smooth and engaging gameplay. So many more people need to pick this up!
Titanfall flopped

That’s exactly what I did with assassins creed, missed a few then came back in on origins when it got added to gamespass
There are so many cheap good games for the PS2, PS3 and PS4, it's more than enough to keep me busy for a very long time
I would heavily recommend the game
Henchman Story ⬅️🕹️
it is this super fun
comic book style visual novel 👾
with amazing voice acting
and great humour and great story
with tons of endings
definitely one of my big time personal favourites visual novel 👾
I just can't recommend it enough!!!🌟
i'm telling you just try it you won't regret it
😁👍
I recently played battlefield hL and it was fun but 360 version. I saw a graphics comparison and wasn’t much difference between next gen and was quite cheap. Mafia 3 def edition is good price atm any thoughts on that game two minds as back log. Btw why is Godzilla on ps4 sooooo expensive in the uk it’s over £100
Just Cause 3 was under €10 and is just open world over the top stupid fun. Recommended if you just want something not so serious :-)
Also Wreckfest was under €10.
