Stand about 10ft (or 3meters) away from a normal sized laptop. Cover each eye separately and read the letters. Let's see how you do!
Do you need glasses... How aware are you...? Test your eyesight and see if you really need glasses.
You may even hypnotize yourself.
This is a fun and easy online eye exam and eye test. It is not a substitute for going to the eye doctor.

To make this accurate, you have to take into account the size of your computer screen, the exact distance you are sitting or standing from the screen, the screen's contrast, and several other variables that may be difficult to control.
isn't it depends on the screen size of your device?

I didnt read the description so I had my tablet right in front of me and was reading with both eyes the whole time 😂

Wow, I hope contacts or glasses work for you. The first set of numbers should be no problem. I'm 33 and got %100 on the whole test from 9 feet away (no glasses). I hope my vision stays good forever :(

I got them all right away on my incredibly dark phone screen. I believe my eye sight is fairly good.
Why has no-one mentioned how far you have to be from the the distance of the screen and the the screen size.

i got all right with my eyes closed. i memorized the chart.
At the eye doctor when u do this test the screen is farther sways so for myself I counted this as cheating😂😂

this type of test has to be taken with a poster version of the test, its to many inconsistencies for accurate judgement viewing this from a device.

i can barely see the first letters from less than 5ft away without my glasses on. not to mention im 16. definitely getting laser eye surgery when i can.

I need to get glasses
i minimized the video until it looked a little bit smaller than an average laptop and then did the test, i am sitting about 2 meters back. (this test is based on an average laptop screen and 3 meters back).
i could just. just barely, read the characters on the line that had 20/20 next to it, and the rest were easy... so does that mean i have something pretty close to 2020 vision? if so i am no longer worried about my eye test for my drivers licence that expires at the end of the month.
i think i will print out an offical A4 version on the work printer tomorrow for a more accurate test.
You're all complaining about not getting past 9 but my vision is so shitty I can't even read 2 and barely make what ever the fuck the first letter is.

would be important to state how far you have to be away from your computer. This test was not meant to be taken sitting down in front of your computer screen. Take six big steps back from your computer and then take the test. You probably will find that your eyes are not as good as you thought. 20/20 means that you can see from 20 feet what the average person sees from 20 feet. 20/40 means you can see from 20 feet what the average person can see from 40 feet etc.

I was born with eye problems but got all of them right!
This really depends if ur far sighted or near sighted because I'm can see close up but not far away so on this case I got it right but if this thing I'd 5 feet away it gets blurry so all you did was deferment if ur far or near sighted 🤓

I thought the first one was a b or d until my friend pointed out that it was a e, I got my eyes checked and they said that I was practically blind...
Nah, I've done all of them but I now I need glasses, my eyesight is quite good but at school I can't see the writing in the board very well so yeah !

Even my grandma took off her glasses and could read these letters easily from Top to bottom really easy guys you need to step up get us something really hard something tough that we can't understand

Are you cheating or farsighted? I meant of cheating is when it is nearer than 6 feet (carriable gadgets) or 20 feet (laptop or regular slide)?

With both eyes it's super easy. But one eye it's harder. Also, you may be holding it too close.
