Solo SUV Camping above 12 THOUSAND feet (& an update!)

This week, Terra and I took to the sky (well, kinda) in the Subaru, camping above 12,000' and summiting our first 14er together in Colorado in some seriously BAD weather. To say it was an extreme adventure would be an understatement.
I also get into an update on international travel, a 'RIG' update, and Terra's health...

Alex, You have become my favorite person to follow. Your energy, attitude and your outlook are so wonderful to watch. In watching you, I realized that you are a valuable resource for guiding me in trying to stay more focused on the remainder of my life. I am 79 and do not have the resources necessary to be able to travel like you. That is something that I have always wanted to do.
You have such a level head on your shoulders. I don't have much time left or someone to do things with. Tara is so wonderful and brings back so many memories. They bring such a comfort to your life, don't they. I would give anything to have my Goldens back again.

As someone MUCH older than you, I can say that life is typically filled with a lot of changes and it's best to just learn how to successfully cope and find joy within those changes. So glad to hear that Terra's health has improved thru diet. Hope your trip abroad goes well! Safe travels!

Sherman was our first (and only, so far) 14er. We took our dog Bernie, and he did great. He was 7 at the time.
You start high (12,050′) and reach the summit after 2.3 miles.
Wow, your plans are so amazing! I think I have watched all your episodes but somehow didn’t know Terra was having health problems. Glad to know she is improving! You take such good care of her❣️enjoy your trip!

Thank you for the updates, especially about Terra's health. I'm so glad to hear that she's doing a lot better with the food you're giving her. And I'm glad you're able to do some European travel, it sounds like you'll be bringing home some very interesting footage. I guess having beloved pets does make it a lot harder to travel, both emotionally and logistically. But please don't feel like "it's now or never". What you've managed to put together for this trip, is replicable. If you want to travel abroad, you'll find a way to do it without compromising Terra's welfare. Maybe you'll find a long-term Fairy dogmother who'll always be ready to take care of her when the need arises!
I appreciate that! I’m certainly in no rush, and know that I will be able to again :) truthfully this trip was a spur of the moment because the timing was right, but I know that we will be abroad again! The hardest part is leaving her, so I can’t wait until I find a way for her to join along!

At Pikes Peak I realized at 14000 I develop altitude sickness. It was horrible. Happy to see you didn’t have that problem.
That’s so tough! I’m really grateful that I don’t typically struggle with that
I live in Colorado and have never been to mt blue sky but it is definitely on my list.
I’d highly recommend it!

So with you planning on going back on the road in the next year, what are you plans for your rig? Going to build out a new one, or keep with the car ?
Don't you think that your going to miss your truck and camper? During the winter when it is cold and wet more room to hang out then in your car. Life is constantly changing and you will figure out where you will end up. It was good seeing you in a video with Nikki and Sarah and girlfriend.
I don’t think so :) the truck and camper served a wonderful purpose for that era, and I won’t be living in my Subaru full-time, which means another home-y rig that has room for us both :)
I’m not surprised you plan on leaving Denver. It is so crowded now, and housing is ridiculously expensive. Infrastructure has not kept up with the massive influx of new residents.

Gratefully I have been here before so it’s really just a snapshot trip to not be away from Terra for too long :) they are all spectacular countries that deserve weeks or months to themselves!

Girl, you are all over the place. After Baja your reason to be in one place was your dog, her health and stability. You got an apartment. You want to build community. We have never seen you building community where you "settled." You have been on the road the whole time. At least what you show on here. We have never seen you explore where you "settled." You then say your apartment is your home base but you are breaking the lease in a few months? You are still doing grad school? Remotely. Ok. It is your life BUT you are sharing it publicly and asking for questions or comments. You say your dog's health is better now but you're taking off and leaving her with a stranger so you can travel abroad? 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😳 So confusing.
I don’t film around my home for privacy reasons, and when meeting new people I don’t bring my camera because it is invasive :) posts are also delayed so while it looks like she just got better and I left her immediately, that isn’t the case. She also loves other people and dogs and is with someone that I trust. It’s important to remember that this is just a snapshot of my life, not the entire thing
@@SheRoamsWild I get that and no one expects you to film 24/7 of your life, or your home location or your private moments. However, since you only show us road life, it is confusing for us to follow when you give us updates about what is coming up or what you plan to do next. I saw a couple of comments on your last couple of videos where people asked what happened to the apartment? I get their confusion too.
Believe in Yeshua, He is the only begotten Son of God who died and rose three days later and loves all of you. He took God's wrath upon Himself, that was the punishment for everyone in sin. He died and rose to give you new life in Him. Born again, a new creation. He died for everyone and wants you with Him, to know Him and live for His glory. Romans 10:9 and John 3:16. Just believe, you must choose to believe and you will receive eternal life. If you still choose to not believe and you die you spend eternity in hell because you choose to not believe. Again, just choose to believe.
By belief in Him alone you can be saved, you receive eternal life and you need to spend time with Him to know Him. Attend a church, read and obey scripture.
Be saved, free, forgiven, healed, delivered, baptized, whole and let Him show you how He is everything you need. He alone satisfies.
Seek God and see your worth how loved you are and know who He is, read scripture. 💕
We are to live righteous and Holy because He said to and He paid for our way to live like Him. Ask anything in His name and the Father will do it amen. Hallelujah Praise the Lord God Almighty 🙏 Thank You Yeshua.

We are to live righteous, doing the right thing always and living in obedience to scripture, every word of it.
We are ambassadors of Christ. We represent God, when we are seen Yeshua should be seen, His ways not ours. We should be living for and showing God, living for His glory. We are to be an example of Yeshua, for the world to see Him and want to know Him and know Him more. 🙏 🔥
2 Chronicles 7:14 says, if My people humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways I will hear them from heaven and heal their land. 🙏 💖
People need to turn from their wicked ways, Yeshua paid for it. That's God stating it in that verse and there are more verses. People need to repent, to be cleansed by His blood and live Holy because He's Holy and righteous because He's righteous. Our God said to stop sinning in many many scriptures and He paid for everyone to be cleansed of sin (Isaiah 53), and to live how He said. He dwells in the Holy temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple.
He said to defile the temple is death. He's always serious about everything He said to do. He's just as serious about what He said not to do.
We live in obedience to His law, which is all of scripture, every word of it! He dwells within us all to be with and lead us in His ways. 💕🙏🔥 🕊️
Deuteronomy 28 there are blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. The whole chapter. These go into the following generations, the 3 and 4th. Our children pay the price for our sin. Numbers 14 18 The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’
God has said to stop sinning. Scripture says how you are sending consequences to yourself and to your loved ones, children. By God's law you are. If you don't believe me ask Him, in Jesus Yeshua's name may you see and know the truth in its fullness.
Yeshua is worthy of everything He said and paid for, so I implore you to do as God said.
Yeshua said If you love Me you will obey My commands. Love Him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.💖🙏🕊️🔥 obeying His every word and in that is life more abundantly. Praise God so Awesome!! Hallelujah Yeshua 🙏
God loves all of you and you are worthy to Him, Yeshua died for all because God loves everyone he sent Him. Come know Him, Yeshua call upon Him 💕 the world knows Him as Jesus, He answers 💕
