    Just a crazy price, who would have thought camping and camper vaning was the preserve of the wealthy.
    A tiny van for a huge amount of money.

      Certainly RVing is now the preserve of the wealthy - but then again, it always was.

    I like that the single beds seem so easy to use, rather than the jigsaw puzzle beds you find So often in these smaller camper cars. Obviously for that price, you could get a simple camper fan (with some money left over probably). But this is pretty innovative for such a small vehicle.

      What bothers me with the jigsaw beds is what happens when one of hte pieces of the jigsaw breaks?

    Very, very impressive feature-set for the size.

    Interested to see this, my self build is a similar layout on a low roof Citroen relay but with a driver's side fixed sofa instead of 2 rear seats (still makes 2 single beds with a central aisle) making for open lounging space facing the side door. Our wardrobe door has an extra portion to go over the worktop to fully shut off the rear 4 ft. The smaller size of the vw really closes it in, but is probably a better size van for a daily driver. Still 100% better than the usual rocknroll camper layout - i dont get why people dont innovate more.

    I think i could cope with a outside shower ,youve fitted what you can in a small place ,bit cramped to live in it full time to be honest 👍

    The single seat design is great, but I wonder if the seats are both fixed. Having the ability to remove one would create significant flexibility.

    • @VanlifewithAlan
      @VanlifewithAlan  2 года назад +1

      As I understand it, the seats do come out.

    You could easily turn the rear into a proper washroom.. And. Have a full height folding door... And having behind the 2 rear seat the kitchen 1 half either side... And turn the front seats into a good sized bed for 2....and obviously with an awning added extra space for times longer than a wkend etc...

    nice interior, but these vans are too small for 4 people to sleep and store gear really. not much storage. better for 2 people. also nice view of toilet from roof bed!

    But i dont understand why would someone spend 80k for this small van without bath when one can get better options in even less price?

    • @VanlifewithAlan
      @VanlifewithAlan  2 года назад +1

      Zafar, it is a question of each to their own. People are different and some people want different things. Certainly, if I had EUR80k, I would buy a used classic Niesmann Bischoff, Carthago or Hymer but other people would not. We are all different!

      @@peterah7957 Unfortunately I am not the tidiest person in the world. I would make a mess out of a mansion and one of the tricks of vanlife is organisation. In the camper, I had to keep things to a minimum - I can imagine the problems being with the in laws - particularly at night or in the rain!
