A sign of the times, sell it as high as possible while you can. The cost of living is exploding in UK and Europe.. there will be many more 2nd hand cheaper Campervans/motorhomes on the market in years to come when people need to cash in
They seem to hold their value quite well . I occasionally check vw California vans etc and they always expensive by my standards. Maybe we all need higher wages 😂 lets face the British worker never complains unlike the french /german we just put up with being taken for a ride.
Here in the U.S., this would cost $200k and it would break down right after you left the dealer! I've seen Euro built campers made for 5' Truck beds but here in America we have 2 choices and they suck!
Crazy that 60 thousand euros considered good value. Dont get me wrong I am sure you are right in current market that is a good price. But it doesn’t reflect the wages ordinary people get or have left over after they paid their mortgage/rent and paid bills and food.
I am absolutely sure, you could buy a small, second hand 7 seater school bus, and covert it for far less money! no more than £20K ! and have it just how you want it!
I see a lot of people making claims like this but never seen it done in practice. Whereas we assume that a home build has 'free' labour, the parts themselves come to far more, never mind the cost of the base vehicle. Also it is not comparing like to like, the seven seater school bus will have been used extensively over the years whilst this base vehicle is new and comes theoretically with a guarantee.
I would definitely buy this for less than 60,000 euros but in the USA this same unit would definitely be over 200,000 dollars and horribly made with zero warranty service!!!! Therefore, I will wait.
GRECH RV the best one imho is the STRADA ION, all battery on MB 3.5 turbocharged diesel and it’s totally AWESOME….. 2022 got mine and zero issues. Pricy but worth it big time.
Interesting. Nice campers. On a different angle, maybe we're related, going way back. My mother and maternal grandfather were from the Heath line. Who knows?
The current market sucks! It's still too much money. If everyone quit buying these vans & RV's, the prices would go down to a more affordable range. But, as long as people still buy them, they'll figure we can still afford them if we want them bad enough, and prices WON'T go down.
what kind of antitheft system do you make to be installed on it? because they use to steal this and other models around the world very often, expecially in italy
That is a ridiculously large campervan. A T4 or a T5 is a medium sized campervan and an NV200 is a small campervan. Only someone with a huge motorhome would call this tiny.
I get they're really catered to families, but damn if I could find something without a second row of seats cause I just need something for me and a couple of dogs lol
In a vehicle like this they are built either into the side walls - or - more commonly - the fresh water tank is under the forward facing bench. The waste tank is nearly always attached to the undercarriage of the vehicle.
Awful! That’s over $65 thousand american dollars!? Say what? There’s much more roomy campers out there for $65 grand!!! Not to mention cheap looking and no room what’s so ever!

It's nicer than my Winnebago Solis Pocket, and it costs less. And it has more - including a bathroom, which I lack.

I think many of the homebuilt vans have a better layout and seemingly better quality

I would go for a second hand one, this is still so overpriced!
Good luck finding one!
It's very cute. I'm in the US and I would like a small van.
It's perfect for one or even two . Love it. 😊
60 Thousand Euros is around 15, 2 to 3 week all inclusive luxury holidays around the world.
I shall have to do a video response to that as it is a very valid point.
Would be perfect for me and my dog. Did the bed frame get bent? Probably should figure that one out.
lol can you imagine trying to shower in that bathroom? The shower curtain would be stuck to u the entire time!!😂
Probably have to sit down n shower
@@doughaga3542 That is what I do and I don't have a curtain!
@@VanlifewithAlan sounds like that would be a good idea!😊
I don't think a curtain is needed. If it's this vs. finding a 24 hour gym when off road, it'll suddenly look pretty good to you.
@@power4things that is very true!😊
You need to show USA prices.
Thanks for the video Alan, I will definitely plan to visit the area!
Nice vans but would not buy one unless there was fly/mosquito screens which is essential. Compact but for one person would be ok.
So we can live on the streets like animals. Nice
How many animals are living in your street?
@@VanlifewithAlan cool camper, plenty of animals in $eattle living in campers

Any chance you could post the American sizes for those of us on this side of the pond
It’s designed so well! Thank you-
Thanks for watching Lydia!
Not mentioned - left hand drive!
i think id rather have bulwark storage than the headspace....
When was this video shot? You say it’s August but the video is only 7 days old??
As I said in August, it is Caravan Salon, so it is August 2023.
GRECH RV the best one imho is the STRADA ION, all battery on MB 3.5 turbocharged diesel and it’s totally AWESOME….. 2022 got mine and zero issues. Pricy but worth it big time.
Hap hap happy birthday Dianne, I hope you had the most wonderful day. Xx🎉🎂🥳🎁
Wow..great price for what you get
Interesting. Nice campers.

Who knows?
It is a common name. Can you give a geographical location - that might help me?

Right now, I am going to do a video on this very subject, it is your comment that has provoked me to do so!
Same with housing. If people would just stop buying houses, then us poor people could actually buy one!
Good price

I'd rather have a Clever van for 40k. You said it was August?
It was August!
@@VanlifewithAlan Just trolling you a little Alan. Cheers!
@@georgekrpan3181 If I had realised George, I would have added a suitably unfunny joke such as yes, we are ahead of everyone else here!
@@VanlifewithAlan Cheers Alan. 😀
Thats nice❤
🥰

Why RVs cost so much money in the US?
60 grand!!!! 😱😱😱😱 what's relative about 60 grand.....
Average car price is $45k. Finance another $15k and you get a house, too.
Can we get this over to the USA? :')
It could be privately imported but there are no dealers in the US.
I get they're really catered to families, but damn if I could find something without a second row of seats cause I just need something for me and a couple of dogs lol
Look at Pilote and Robeta if they're sold where you live.
romahome?
There are a number of companies doing layouts like this including Karmann Mobil.
Why the camper vans are cheaper in Europe? 🤔
Same reason cars have always been cheaper in Europe. Rip off overtaxed Britain.
no dealers in UK
No longer!
Where are the water tanks
In a vehicle like this they are built either into the side walls - or - more commonly - the fresh water tank is under the forward facing bench. The waste tank is nearly always attached to the undercarriage of the vehicle.
Is this Available in UK?
You might find a used one Chris but Karmann no longer have a UK dealer (I believe).
Shower?
Inside the wet room!
Made me laugh if he thinks that is a tiny campervan. It is huge.
So what fully contained campervans are smaller?
"Tiny"?. It's huge compared to my Daihatsu.
Awful. Claustrophobic. I could get maybe 60 decent holidays for the same money with somebody else keeping it clean.
You certainly could that is why it is best to rent if it is to be used only for a few weeks each year.
Ridiculous price.
“Itch ahh stack of cashhh”
Find something better for the price.
Pls.only show RV campers that we can get in the USA!!!
You have to accept that campervans are rip-offs. There are self-builds for £5,000 which are much nicer.
Let me know where you can get the base vehicle for GBP5k and I will buy as many as I can afford.
Adz Ventures YT looks better.

No tv or rooftop ac,not even the basics overpriced garbage.
This thing looks like plastic junk. Half the things in it will be broke and cracked and not working within a year. Garbage.
If it does break within a year, then it is covered by the guarantee!
