In order to understand all the references you have to know and have seen all the entries that they are referring to. That would make it even much funnier. And in my opinion the very best interval act still is Riverdance. Whenever i watch that on RUclips I still get a little emotional. I remember that I saw it in 1994, and that I couldn’t believe my eyes and my ears. They got a standing ovation!

I do think that the context of the year was pretty important. It was the first time that a performance like this happened in eurovision with the visual effects and all, so that really hit us all. I remember watching this performance and being blown away; I watch it now and it's not as surprising as it was back then, but in 2015 it was definitely the most original! (plus mans' charisma is always awesome)

Måns is a legend of Eurovision, not only for winning but because he makes a cameo almost every year. He always finds a way to slide into the show. Except this year. My theory is that everything started to fall apart when they forgot to take him out of the deep freeze.

Måns was in Swedish Idol back in 2005 and ended up 4th I think. Soon after that he won Swedish "Dancing with the stars". He hosted the biggest Swedish summer tv-show Allsång på Skansen several years, participated three times in Melodifestivalen (the show where Sweden decide which song to send to Eurovision) and third time he won it all. Then he co-hosted Eurovision in Sweden the year after and became legendary. He is also a member of the jury in Swedish Masked singer. And a lot more.
    So, multi talented guy indeed!

Now you've seen 4th place (Belgium) and Sweden (1st), soon you'll see Latvia (6th) - thank you to everyone who voted for it - if you liked lots of red in this one, there will be plenty in Latvian performance. :) I can't wait for you to see it - your first taste of any music from Latvia (my country).
