You're tricking us, and subjecting yourself to unnecessary hate for a video you put a lot of work into, and in the end that helps nobody. (the number of views vs ratings/comments shows how quickly people bailed when they realized it wasn't actually official... And meanwhile, people like me who actually LOOK for AMVs/Fan-made Music Videos may be missing out. I only got here because I just discovered the song existed and wanted to hear it, THEN would go to look for fanvids. Wouldn't it be better off catching its intended audience, so you can get the appreciation your work deserves?

Dude, Bands absolutely love this stuff. When fans use songs by specific bands and put epic shit over it, it captures how bad ass the song is. New people find the video and try to find the band responsible for producing the song, resulting in the band's growth. And if Godsmack were to not like this video, they would most likely contact the person who created this video and kindly ask them to either edit the video or its title.
