    Sometimes seeing it done a bit wrong is the best way to learn. I would’ve done the exact same thing with the valve, so there you go.

    Thanks for the video. We just discovered that our company delivery car is one of the models with no spare. That is not an option. In the blowout situation my driver had, there was no amount of fix-a-flat that would’ve helped. We had to have the car towed in to get a new tire. We were lucky that it happened just a couple of miles from where we are located and not when he was delivering to a rural area 20 miles from the nearest service location. Now I get to explain to our corporate peeps why we need to purchase a whole spare tire assembly for the vehicle. 🤦‍♀️

    I bought a spare and will throw it in the trunk for any long drives. I've also plugged many tires in my life and will put a plug kit and higher quality compressor in there. They should have just offered the rear tire mount like their overseas model.

    • @roadsideguy5902
      @roadsideguy5902  3 года назад +5

      Yeah there is enough Room underneath 2 mount it. It's crazy they don't give you a spare. All that money you spend and the fact that you buy their brand and they insult you by not even giving you a spare tire. I don't think anybody should ever by a vehicle without a spare tire brand new. Everybody should always look in the trunk and make sure it has a spare enough it doesn't tell them you are not going to buy it. I guarantee if we all stood up to these people they would start respecting us in stop ripping us off. Thanks for watching famous for

      Even a donut would solve a whole bunch of anxiety I have. I just purchased the Ecosport Titanium edition and not having a spare almost killed the deal. I have a little more confidence after watching this, plus the fact I have a multitude of Roadside assistance. Add in your tutorial here, thanks for sharing.

    interesting video, thanks for sharing, a very practical solution, no need for a spare tire, must be expensive as here in the Philippines they still opted for a spare tire, probably to keep the sale price down and attractive, glad I got the Ecosport ♥

    I knew the car had no spare, but didn't even know about that repair stuff in there. I guess the best thing I can do is get some tire plugs, cement, scissors jack, the tire tool for the patches and more goop and keep it with the Ford kit. I'd guess the stuff is the same as slime used for bikes. I wonder if they sell a "baby spare" to fit these wheels. Looks like you could rig storage underneath. Good Video - I'm surprised that thing even worked.

    • @roadsideguy5902
      @roadsideguy5902  Год назад

      Yeah, I think you could fit a donut spare underneath. Get a used one from a salvage yard. I was surprised it worked too, especially after screwing it all up to begin with. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.

      Funnel is for gas, I think if you have to siphon? The metal ring is for tow, my husband's Escape is also equipped with both.

    • @regjenkinson6247
      @regjenkinson6247 5 месяцев назад

      You can't use a conventional funnel on a 1gallon petrol can to put some juice in your tank on capless petrol tanks like modern ford's you have to push the special funnel in your kit into the petrol filler hole

      Cause Ford thinks that even though you spent your hard earned money a spare is too expensive to just give you, so you have to buy one. You must order it when ordering the vehicle new. Ford sucks! They don't care about anything besides profit.

    Worked a treat, certainly much safer, cleaner, easier, and less labour intensive than having to jack up the car, try to remove a wheel which may be fused to the hub, (as I found once), then change the wheel, not to mention the environmental benefits of less Co2 emissions from the reduced weight, the tyre sealant can usually be washed out to repair the damage in the tyre too, contrary to popular myths that this ruins the tyre!.

Anyone have a tutorial on how to get this out of your hair, clothes, and interior of a passenger car door that was opened? Also, never try tasting it- it doesn't taste good when its being shot into your mouth. :) My bad. Thanks for the tutorial.
