Omg Jasmine. I learned this but never had the opportunity to perform it. I'm so trying to get my flute back. Maybe I should just get an inexpensive one, but I so want my Muramatsu. 😪😪😪 Absolutely BRILLIANT.
Let me also call attention to other Copland chamber works that are under appreciated. There is Copland's Violin Sonata with Issac Stern playing the violin and the composer on the piano. It is a stunningly haunting and lyrical work. Plus Copland's Clarinet Sextet which is a reworking of his Short Symphony. It is an exciting and rhythmically conplex work.

Hauntingly BEAUTIFUL. This piece could be very problematic for intonation. You just shimmer within the piano unisons.
