- A detailed review of the torque monster a.k.a. the Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT 2000 CC. A true savage, a beast of a bike. This thing eats up miles like anything. A very dependable and reliable engine. There is no dearth of raw torque right through the bottom of the rev range right up to the top. This thing can smoke the road and shred it as it does.
Same here I have same color and year. My license plate is "1FATKAW" It's not a bad bike. It makes gobs of low end torque. It's not easy to counter balance a twin with slugs over 1000cc. If it was in a motorcycle the motor be well suited as a farming irrigation pump. One mandatory upgrade you must do is send your ECU to Ivans ECU for reprogramming. This bike comes from the factory set horribly lean (this is only true for VN-2000's that are DOT approved for Calif) if your bike coughs pops during deceleration or during throttle off down hills then you need to flash the ECU or your motor will not be around long or ever run as good as it is capable of.
I've heard good stuff about Ivan. I might send it to those folks.
Thanks for the thorough review Rahul. Now that these are becoming affordable to me as a Popper in the states I'm going to pull the trigger on one this year. Well done comprehensive review, thank you.
Thanks Benjamin. Good luck with the purchase.
Thank you for this review. You're very articulate and thorough. 👍🏻👍🏻
Much appreciated - thank you Sir!
Great video great bike. I have a Yamaha stratoliner.S... bought it used couple years ago got 50,000 miles on it roughly. I've had many before imports Big bore. And if I could afford it I would definitely buy that Kawasaki just because I could great great products

My "07 is the same color !
I added a batwing fairing, painted to match, a Leatherlyke luggage bag, Sirius satellite radio.
Even painted the side covers to match, not sure why Kaw didn't already do that.
Kept the STOCK pipes, prefer quieter rides.
GREAT ride !!!
Could you tell me what batwing did you get plz, and what brackets did you use to mount it?
@@bernarddowd6446 radio caddy is the name, made my own brackets, about to pull out now for a ride before it gets too hot
198.000 km here. Runs like champ.
That is awesome!
These are beasts! There is no way to get around the weight but once you get moving, they are a leisure.
Absolutely, the bike is a beast and it never stops to please with torque on demand in any gear and any speed
Like a boss indeed. I just bought mine today. My first cruiser.
Indeed Sir - have fun and ride safe!
Nice bike and review well done.
Have the O4 / bought custom trailer just in case he stops / a sports bike its NOT / HIGHWAY CRUISER / eats rear tyre / nice finish / 18yrs old still looks new
i got one as my 1 st bike its awsome
Looking at a 2006 model with under 2000 miles on it, All original . That big motor needs 90 Octane or more I bet to run like it should? I'm looking to pay 5G. for this one in what looks to be EC. enjoyed your review
I have had it for over a year now, and it is a champ. I bet you will have fun for years on the motorcycle
Great bike! I own a 04 classic. VH pipes
That is one beautiful motorcycle!
Thanks for your review.
Nice bike, torque monster
Nice 2 tone scheme. Mine is the burgundy version.
Hydraulic valve adjustment?
Let me know when you decide to sell it. I have 900 classic in same color.
bought the wife a 900 this color to match my 2000 Classic LT
I have a 07 mean streak special edition and i may trade it for one
Nice paint.❤❤❤
Don't these engines burn oil after 30k miles ?
I have travelled only 20,000 KM on mine. Has been fine so far. Not sure if others faced this issue. TBH I did not see this mentioned by high mileage riders
I have over 60k miles on my black 2007 which loses just under two quarts each season. It does not leak, smoke nor gets swallowed by the PVC oil trap so I am guessing it is oozing through the rings.

No mine has 55000has never used oil between oil changes
I’m just trying my uno I I I’m😊
