@@Hossman78 This is my same question at 6'6". I have heard one guy 6'8" say the Yamaha Raider was extremely comfortable and I would imagine so since my Stryker was pretty nice and slightly smaller. Looking at KN2000, Raider & Stratoliner but haven't gotten to sit on any.
@@Hossman78 I have a 2008 VTX1800N. What a beautiful bike. She is a beast when she need to be, but the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden. 1000 miles in 3 days, and I didn't feel a thing. That V2K sounds amazing! Never cared for any Honda exhaust sounds. I loved my V2K!!! Had a Thunder 2-1 pipe, Thunder intake and a PCIII with a custom dyno tune. No cruiser could touch me except for a Triumph Rocket or Hayabusa! Miss it big time!
Ive owned both at the same time, and both are wild. Head to head to 2rd gear the vtx can beet the vn2000 off the ljne because of the vulcans low rev limit and need to quick shift to 2nd gear. After that the vn2000 pulls away from the vtx 1800. Vtx 1800 likes a little higher reving to get power. VN2000 pulls like a freight train at all reves! Top end on both bikes is beyond my ridding skills. Had vn2000 up to Almont 130mph. The Vtx scared me at 120mph. Both bikes eat rear tires, don't expect more then 4,000 mile per tire!
I had these 2 on mind as I wanted to switch to a bigger bike from my smaller Honda Shadow. Went with the Vulcan due to better gas mileage and bigger tank. Love the bike.
He lets me on his bike time to time and man is it a comfortable bike feels like you’re sitting on a cloud compared to the vtx. What cc did you end up going with the 2000?
@@northeaststreets9640 yes Sir. I got the 2000. Enjoy your ride my friend and years of happy riding to you and your friend. I did a review on my 2000. You can find it on my channel in case you were interested 👍
Currently on the shadow and love it! Definitely notice when I’m maxed out on it during highway rides. Good for while I’m learning, as it still kicks on the freeway but definitely looking for a bigger bike
I had a VTX 1800 and a Roadliner 1900 A friend of mine had the v 2000. The VTX was the fastest. The VTX in this video sounds like it isn't fuel tuned properly with that exhaust popping.
VTX felt a tiny bit quicker and handled better. Roadliner was more like a Harley with the Pushrods and felt heavier but comfortable. I like both but would go with the VTX if I had to pick one. Both of them have more than enough power.@@selejanrazvan4026
Riding bare handed is insane.. First thing thats going to touch that grinding wheel are your hands.. its instinct to put those arms out when you fall. Wear gloves. Having no palms left is painful.
If you want a well balanced bike that isn’t to heavy to maneuver the vtx1800 is awesome the Vn2000 is awesome bike too but it’s also 100lb heavier and when you ride it you can feel the weight where as the vtx1800 feels weightless and the shaft helps with that instant power👌🏼 both are super fun bikes!
Vn2000 100% is the way to go, the bike is absolutely enormous, and for such a big bike it absolutely rips, and you add some fairings and bags ect. You’ll sit perfectly on it👍🏻 also it’s extremely comfortable it’s like riding a big sofa lol I promise you won’t be disappointed. The vtx is a smidge faster but not as comfortable and smaller in my experience.
Nice vid! Do you know what kind of bags your friend has? I have a VN2000 and I’m looking for saddlebags. I was thinking Viking bags but I like the way your friend’s bags look. Thanks!
Buddy has vtx 1800 tuned intake and pipes i habe vulcan 2000 tuned i take pipes and even switching riders the v2k gaps the vtx by no less than bus length every time clear to 140
@@northeaststreets9640 Install the Euro gears and that will change. The Euro bikes got a taller gearing it makes 1st gear useable on the V2K and gives it a higher top end and a little more legs on the 1-2 shift.
Think that's fun? Go balls out on a liter plus sportbike 😆 looked fun though. I miss my Raider, m109r, and Warrior as well...not sportbike fast, but quick, comfy rides
Poor quality video. Small picture. I couldn't tell what was going on half the time. The VTX rider kept looking down when they were racing so you couldn't tell were the other bike was. Might be something you and your buddy want to watch, but anyone else looking at it won't get much out of it. Even your comment "we come to the conclusion they’re pretty much they same speed up until 5th" didn't tell us anything because you didn't say what happened at fifth gear. Who pulled away?
Yeah we ordered a go pro this was just my cell phone in my pocket we’re gonna re do it. The vn2000 pulls when we hit 5th. Up until then it’s pretty even. Sorry for the video quality! Stay tuned for another race! Also it’s probably annoying to do but you can see the vn2000 reflection in my gas tank the whole time either way man thanks for the input subscribe to see better quality videos!

Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 it’s 2100cc
Vn is short for Vulcan
VN is the model designation for the Vulcan 2000 line. 125 cubic inches/2053cc
