Can this transition between technical training and anaerobic training ? How long should I rest from each set ? And after I finish all the sets how long should I rest to start again ?
@@lps8966Use the principles of norwegian 4x4 intervals. 4 min on, 3 min off (4 rounds), maintaining HR at 90-95% of HRM (heart rate max) During the 4 min, instead of sustained effort, do sprint & rest, and play around with the work to rest ratio to maintain HR at 90-95% HR max. For example, to ramp up HR quickly to above 90%, do 5s work & 5s rest (1:1 work rest ratio). Once you get to >90%, you keep at 1:1 or go to 1:2 or 1:3 as long as you maintain >90% Usually, in 1st round, you might be able to do 1:1, but may have to increase to 1:2 or 1:3 in later rounds The important point is to maintain >90%, so don't be so rigid. Try to listen to our body, the goal is sustained effort I use this technique using air bike, but I also want to try this resistance band method Thx
@lps8966 For aerobic training (cardio), you generally want to maintain a lower heart rate for an extended period of time. A good rule of thumb is to take 180, subtract your age, and that's the upper limit. Then subtract 20 from that and that's the lower limit. So if you're 30, that would be 130-150 bpm. This is called Maffetone training. If you can't measure heart rate, you want to work hard enough that you're breathing harder, but can still carry on a conversation. For anaerobic training, you want to warm up thoroughly (break a sweat doing a movement similar to what you'll be doing in the workout) and do max effort for 20 seconds. You should be giving it everything you have. Tabata training is 8 rounds of 20 seconds of maximum effort and 10 seconds of rest. It's a very time efficient way to work out because it only takes 4 minutes (after the warm up). I think for anaerobic training though it's better to fully recover between each 20 second bout. Rest until you feel fresh. Doing band uchi komis like this is probably better suited to aerobic (cardio) training because the nature of the movement doesn't lend itself to the kind of max intensity effort that anaerobic training requires. Whether it can be a workout and technical training at the same time depends on your skill level. For technique training you want to go slowly enough that you can think about what you're doing so that you can improve. If you can do that while breaking a sweat, then by all means.
Great video. I cant train currently because of injury but the great thing about the resistance bands is that you can adjust the amount strength needed and still work on your coordination. Thank you!
First think what you intend to do, get your foot paterns correct then start slowly and lightly until you feel relaxed then treat it like a dance increase speed. I use bike innertubes. You do not need fancy equipment.
It would be great if you could explain about philosophy of Judo. Like mindset, the legacy of Kano Jigoro, japanese school of Judo. Thank you in advance.

This is probably one of the best if not THE best uchi komi band videos on RUclips
If you practice each movement in 30 seconds, and alternate side to side, that'll be the equivalent of a 30 min workout that will blow you away.

Just wonder how to set up the band on the column nice and tight? Isn’t it be easily broken when it only twines on a string?
it seems to me that he made several loops on that string and then a knot. I suppose he made a prussik knot
